This roll up tray (to store) is well made, has a nice smooth finish and the slats unrolls to lay on a flat surface or drape over the arm of the couch to hold a beverage or a project I'm working on. Gives some sturdiness, stability to an otherwise unsteady surface. I can see using it in other ways in the future. Nice product ; I am very pleased.

Don’t hesitate if you are in need of a sturdy wooden placemat I use it on my coffee table, arms of my sofa and kitchen counter. Really nice looking and practical .

I have a sofa with squared off arms and I use this when I eat while watching TV. I love the wood look. Protects the arm of my sofa from food and drinks.

Made nicely and feels heavy duty but only works if your sofa arms are squared off. I had to return mine because it doesn't sit on rounded arms well.

This is such a cool piece. You can get multiples and put them together and make a nice big mat to place hot items on or just so it looks good.

My couch has slightly squared sofa arms, so the wood pieces sit pretty flush together, creating a sturdy surface. I could see this not working too well for super curved arms, unless the were really wide. Overall, it works great for me.

I bought this to use on the sofa arms but actually it has been used far more fully flat to convert soft surfaces such as a sofa cushion or rug to be a useful side table. The wood feels lovely, very smooth and well finished, and it stays safely level while absorbing a normal amount of movement (unlike a standard tray). We are going to be using this for a long time and will be recommending it to friends.
