Installed this Advanblack clutch release device in my 2004 Road King Classic. Even with 94,500 miles, the clutch pull was as hard as when it was new. Over the years I’ve developed some arthritis in my hands and the clutch pull has become somewhat difficult. After installing the Advanblack my clutch pull is almost 1/2 the effort from stock. Great product, works great , easy install, and if you having a problem make sure you have the correct clutch cable length and adjustment on your clutch loosened up before installing clutch ramp and cover . This will make sure your starting from a neutral position.

Priced perfect for what it does. My oem was pitted bad and went with a cheaper version for supposedly making the clutch lever easier to pull. Although smoother didn't make it any easier. If your shopping around for a unit like this. Compare the ramps and placement of them. AdvanBlack positions the ramps closer to the center. And where the cable mounts to just a little longer then stock. And together makes for a easier clutch to practice slow parking lot drills. Before practice would be 15 minutes max before I left hand was hurting. And now I rode to work and practice is the parking lot for 30 minutes and all felt normal. It made my 03 Road King enjoyable to ride again. Don't cheap out like I did and go with AdvanBlack the first time.

I really wanted this product to work but it doesn’t. It does make the clutch pull significantly lighter but it doesn’t disengage the clutch all the way, so in reality your not putting down all your power and worst of all eventually this thing will burn your clutch packs out because of improper engagement

Works very good

I purchased this for a 2000 Heritage FLSTC as the arthritis in my left hand makes long trips with lots of clutch action difficult. It definitely reduces clutch pull wonderfully. The issue is I cannot get it to fully disengage the clutch. There is a bit of clutch drag. I have reduced my adjustment from 1/2 a turn to 1/4 and it still has the same issue. I am not sure if it is just this brand or one of the others might be better. I am looking at the Baker full kit as that comes with new balls and a heavy duty throwout bearing.
