I use this in many situations, working under a sink, hang it from a hook or bar, or stand it on its own. I have a lot of Bosch 18 volts and the batteries are interchangeable.

Fits my Bosch batteries. Simple on/off operation, no fuss. But lacking in EVERY other area. Should have been better designed for that kind of money. Should have 2 or 3 brightness levels, doesn't. Pistol shape is a good idea, but no swivel on the hook and no magnet are obvious omissions. And the manual is 100% chinese or eastern language. No English translation attempted! So those "important" safety disclaimers are totally inaccessible to the US market. At least it is reasonably bright, enough to cast shadows outdoors on a cloudy day. Light color is good, i guess about 3500 K, objects look like they're in high noon sunlight. Color is important. Beam is super wide, like 120 degrees, for really close-up work, but still throws enough light to see an object many yards away. Elements are spaced out to help soften the shadows.

Works well

This is a great light so far. I do wish it had a magnet or at least a swivel for the hook. It always seems like it is 90 Degrees off.
