Great sounding earbuds. Missing some of the features that you get from the top teir AZ line, regardless they are worth the money. Not the best ANC or transparency but the quality of the sound makes up for that.

Grabbed these for $80, hands down best fitting and best sounding earbuds I’ve had in my life , as far as this price range goes. Apple and Beats aren’t even close. You want a quality pair go Technics , you won’t regret it.

This review is for EAH-AZ40M2-K version of the headphone. Background: Headphone junky with a need for a multipoint connectivity headphone. I am comparing this with the apple airpod because the airpod is a very popular headphone that serves as a good base line. Goods: 1. The multipoint connectivity is very convenient with my work/personal PC, and Iphone. I also own the airpod pro which is very seamless between apple devices but doesn’t do multipoint with PCs. The multipoint connectivity on this phone is great. If I am talking to my wife on the iphone and my boss calls me on MS team, the headphone would ring while I am on the call which is what I needed! The 3 devices connection is AWESOME! 2. Sound: Pretty good, but not as good as the airpod. None of my devices use the LDAC codes so I am not able to test this. Average: 3. Battery life: It didn’t matter if noise cancelling was on/off. The battery is about 5.5 hrs as claimed. I charge it during my lunch time for it to last all day. It charges quickly. 4. Headphone control: Average with tabs. Nothing notable. 5. Comfort: Very average. Make sure you try the different earbud sizes or your ear will get sore. 6. Mic: Average. No better or worse than other headphone. Please note that I use this for work while I am working from home. It is mostly quiet without much background noise. Bads: 7. Noise Cancelling: This is a big one. I CANNOT tell the difference with the noise cancelling on/off. I tried it while vacuuming and doing other daily activities. The Noise Cancelling is non-existents or does not work. You can keep it off and it doesn’t make a difference. It is basically just passive noise cancelling. 8. Ambient Sound: There is some constant white noise while the Ambient Sound is on. Unlike the airpod transparency mode. Not very useful. 9. Its states Alexa is “Built-in”. Alexa is definitely not built-in, not the way it does in the Echo Buds. It only works while you have the Alexa app opened. However, I had no intention of using Alexa with it anyways so it doesn’t matter to me. 10. No wireless charging. Overall: The 3 device multipoint connectivity is a big plus. Good headphone for about $120.

I did a good amount of research for new earbuds. I've had a pair of Mpows for years and wanted something high end this time around. I watched countless videos, read numerous reviews, but still was hung up on what I wanted. First it was Peats. Then G buds. Then P buds. Even Beats at one point. So much info going around on all of those a person's head will spin. Now I'm an 80's kid so Technics hits me right in the heart. When I hear the word Technics I think of old turn tables and cassette players. I think of the refinement in the product. The class. The craftsmanship. The quality. The AZ40'S contain all of that. They are crafted elegantly. Simple yet classy. Just looking at them reminds me of the 80's. Paired with my Pixel 7, these buds sound amazing albeit I am using a secondary equalizer, well, because it's a Pixel 7. The Technics app along with the secondary equalizer, brings these buds to life. They sound amazing! Everything I was hoping for. The touch controls work good. The noise cancelling works well and the app is pretty handy. I can't compare these to the other big players, but I feel Iade the perfect choice.

I tried this earbuds for 3 weeks and I was continuously dislike this product as I use more. 1) sound quality -Average, not so great for dynamic/bass heavy sounds 2) Noise Cancelling -So average, more so noise minimizing 3) Ambient -Terrible high pitch noise in a background even when you’re in a quiet room 4) Ear buds design -speaker parts will stay/stuck in your ear holes but the rest of earbuds (body part) kept tilted and falling out of ears 5) Quality of charging case - super cheaply made plastic case I’ve ever owned. Extremely light weight can be a pro..? Not for me 6) Charging case battery life - You will need to charge the charging case every 2 days Overall highly disappointed experience. I used this for daily office (desk work) environment, walking outdoor (city and hiking) environment, and workout at indoor gym environment. Most annoying part was the earbuds tiled off and it’s looks like Fallon out of my ears. Hard to control while working out. I ended up pulling out my phone and control music, and adjust the setting through the app all the time. Cool logo design though, that’s all about it.

I travel for work and I’m often on airplanes and at music festivals and the noise canceling feature on these is unmatched. I love how easy it is to switch between modes like ambient and noise canceling. You can also download the app for more customizations. They stay charged for a very long time and fit in the ear nicely. The sound quality is great and goes very loud. The call clarity could be better however it’s still pretty good. The product feels very durable and well made. Technics makes great products and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next!

The best, most comfortable pair of buds I've ever had. I've had them for well over a year, maybe two yrs.

I bought these 1.5 years ago for around 150 cad and they are genuinely amazing, especially for the price, but also irrespective of price. I've had: Airpods Airpods pro Wx1000xm3 (they're Sony's, if the name is a bit odd) One of the Bose ones The Samsung buds live, and pro Beats powerboats pro And probably a couple more. My ears are a bit small, so the Sony's and Bose would always fall out, these stay in perfectly, though the left one is sometimes suspect. Still, really comfortable. They sound the best out of all the ones I've tried, even living up to a couple of my overear headphones. I don't normally write reviews which is why it took be a year and a half to get around to it but they still work great. The battery life is also really good, even still. The charging with the case is a bit slow, I think I've read that there's a limit on the input, and it's quite low, so they definitely cheaped out there but it doesn't make a difference in my day to day use of the technics. I've dropped it a couple of times, and the case has one or two scuffs. Still work great. They're about 100 dollars cheaper than the high end earphones and they are definitely better, at least to me. I would buy the higher end technics but they're a bit bigger and Im not sure they would fit. Overall, very happy with these, would buy again!

I love these earbuds. One of their most important features for me is the Ambient Noise option! With a press of the button, I can easily switch from being able to hear friends and family talking to me to cutting out the noise when I find myself becoming overwhelmed by environmental noise! I lost my first set, so I purchased a second (And then I found my first set again of course!) and I loved them so much I bought a set for my wife! I recommend these to anyone and everyone!
