Butterfly sewing kit

I purchased this to make up an order for free postage and I am so glad I did. It’s a great little kit for travel or for those who just need the basics. I would even say it’s a great beginners starter kit. The pen in the picture is to show the size. When open it’s a little bit bigger then A5. As usual the thread is the basic type but easily replaced. There’s plenty of space to fit proper spools. The thimble is metal. The needle holder is ok, I’d make another - a small felt booklet. They are so much easier to organise and use and wouldn’t take up any more space. It would also take the pins provided. The only time I’ve used safety pins, in many years of sewing, is for patchwork quilting or the like. There’s a large needle for threading wool or ribbon and a seam ripper. The scissors are metal not the cheap plastic sort. The manufacturer could improve it by putting the buttons and pins in a small plastic container with lid. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to a friend.

This is a very cute and colorful sewing kit. I love all the different pieces that come in the kit. I never think to have safety pins or a seam ripper on hand and I love that this kit has everything you need. It also comes in such a cute case! I do wish that there were a few more color selections and wish the thread was a bit stronger but I’m overall happy. It’s a good kit for the price point.

This is a great little set at a fab price. I bought to keep neatly in my daughters dance comp bag in as elf emergency’s. Love that it has many different colours of thread aswell.

I love this little kit. I love that’s it’s small and compact enough to be travel sized but also not so small that you get hardly anything included. All the cotton threads are of decent size meaning this should last me ages considering I’m not a big sewer and mainly needed it to patch up some holes in my favourite trousers or sewing on name labels for my kids school kids. Would really recommend for any basic household sewing kit needs , all the tools and extras are great, plenty of needles and everything has its own slotted place in it, could easily fit in a medium handbag or a car glove box!

Very functional sewing kit and a lovely gift for a university student as everything you would need to sew up any rips or loose buttons is all in one place. Good value for money. Good size for what is in it, which is alot as there is needles, pins, sewing thread, a thimble, scissors and more and a decent zip that keeps everything secured together.

Bought this to take on holiday. It’s cheap and cheerful and came in handy while I was away. However if you are a serious sewer this is not good for everyday sewing.
