great alternative to nail scissors. If you have trouble trimming your toes, give these pliers/nippers a try. The work with better accuract in cutting your nails than scissors, cut is accurate bc you can see where you are cutting. Durable as well.

Excellent quality, cut very well

I'm a computer tech and bought these to use to cut thin copper wire such as ethernet cable, door control wiring, etc. I've had them since last summer and they have been fantastic!! We've had a couple of big projects since I got these cutters and they have made many hundreds of cuts. I've seen some reviews that state they don't work on hardened wire. I can't speak to that as I only use them on copper. The cutting surface is still sharp and perfect. For my use, I only want cutters with coil springs or hidden springs to open the jaws. Those little metal leaf springs that most cheaper (and some not so cheap) cutters have are not good for me because they get caught on the edge of my pocket. When I'm working on a project, I usually keep my cutters hanging on the edge of my pocket with one arm in and one out. These don't get caught at all. So bottom line, for small gauge copper these are fantastic and are very reasonably priced.

They're sharp, the joint and spring move freely without play (tight joint)...and the most important thing is that the back side has NO bevel, meaning a "flush cut" that's actually "FLUSH". These are great for zip ties, and probably great to cut off the drop from 3D printers, and sprues from injection mold parts like model kits!!
