Wonderful color! it really lights up under my blacklight and stays lit up for a solid two minutes. its a bit spendy but definitely worth it. i love this yarn!

I got this yarn to test against the Lion brand Glow Yarn, which I crochet with very frequently. I love this one much better. It's not as stiff, which is easier on my joints, glows brighter, and lasts a little longer in the dark. It does split pretty easily, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. It is a fantastic price and I will purchase this and the other colors available again in the future.

It's fun yarn, and I imagine the downsides of it (pretty expensive, comes apart at the ends, and is fairly thin) are the same as what you'd get with any glow in the dark yarn. I'd say it glows well compared to other glow in the dark products. The skeins are small but good for amigurumi--I made these two mini ducks with one skein and still have enough in the skein for another half duck or so. (Pattern: Good Luck Duck by Sweet Softies) For me, it was worth it for glow in the dark yarn!

Very easy time crochet with and it really does glow!

This is the second time I ordered this brand of yarn, as I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but what a waste. It's so frayed at the ends it just comes apart when you try to crochet with it and whatever material it is I can't even melt the ends with a lighter to keep it together. Not to mention, who sets yarn up to be worked from the outside? I tried with 2 of the skeins to get the end out of the center but it was such a mess I couldn't get it out and had to roll the damn thing into a ball so I wasn't working from the outside of the skein and tangling it more. Never again. The color and glow are decent but worthless when the yarn just comes apart.

While it’s not what I expected but works fantastic! I think that I want to double it up and try another lightning bug.. I prefer chenille but this works in a pinch and it’s so bright! I wish the color was more even! However it’s a tough durable yarn for kids toys!
