TFA 305011 Comfort Control Digital Thermo-Hygrometer

Good product, works well. What else can I say ? I just put batteries in and away it went. A bit complicated to use all it features like when temperature or humidity goes above or below a range and is likely to cause mould - but then, I only wanted to know that my eggs were in the best conditions for incubation.

As a refrigeration engineer this is great for accurately monitoring rooms.

Docked a star as this product is relatively expensive (you can get much cheaper hygrometer/thermometer devices). However it seems very reliable and accurate. The dew point value displayed is extremely useful for estimating when condensation is likely to occur (rather than having to guesstimate (or calculate) from the temperature and relative humidity values).

By constantly monitoring relative humidity this unit gives you the opportunity to ensure that a dehumidifier can be switched on and off only when really needed and is not left running unnecessarily

Excellent product, much faster response to humidity changes than other electronic hygrometers I have. Dew point reading is useful. Recommended.

This unit works very well - if there was a complaint it would be that the language is German on the front.

I purchased this Thermometer-Hygrometer and next day send it back to Amazon for a full refund. I have not been disappointed with my shopping on amazon many times, but this item stands out so poorly I could not believe it has so many good reviews. Firstly after connecting the battery it was "on" all the time no matter if I switch it to "off" or "on". Secondly it wasn't showing any difference in temperature or humidity in between different rooms, not to mention showing reading for inside the flat or outside the flat, with cold wind coming in actually it gave the humidity reading lower then inside which was not possible for the current winter weather. Making long story short it is in my opinion not worth the money, maybe faulty item, but in general yours may be this same because it's made from cheap plastic rather not looking made in Germany. This same you could easily get from Pound shop. I would rather look else were and I will soon do myself again for something which does work. I hope that helps.
