I didn’t think these pens would be very good as I’ve yet to have found a gel pen I like, but I am happy to say these are better than expected. The red substance over the tip was difficult to remove, I did pick at it, and I eventually got enough off to use the pen, but there is still some left on it and it doesn’t hinder writing. I would rather the tips be well sealed than come to the pen and find the ink has dried ! The pen is easy to hold, lightweight, and the j m put on paper is smooth and flows well. I’ve tried it on good quality and crap paper and it’s worked well for both types.

First of all, they are nice smooth writers and that’s the most important thing. The ink flow is even and smooth. The nibs all have a kind of plastic coating on them to prevent drying out which you have to pick off before using but it’s good that they have addressed the issue of ink drying out before the pens even reach you! The pens themselves look pretty and have a matt-feel grip coating and also a pocket grip and the nib is retractable. It basically ticks all the boxes I look for in a good pen!

The first pen I used was great, ink was flowing ok. But the rest of the pens leaked so it's basically paying £11.99 for one pen :(

These are first class gel pens. They’re good to hold and leave a perfect line. Like all gel pens, they aren’t suitable for glossy paper, of course, but on photocopier paper the ink dries in seconds. The colour of the pens isn’t to my taste but will be liked by others. What might be rather less popular, however, is the messaging: Grace @I want to see you every day, Best love, Fantasy Purple, Love @It’s better for you. What on earth is that about?! If you can live with that text or perhaps even like it, the set is probably worth £12.99. Me, I’ll use them, now I have them, but will keep them out of sight and certainly won't buy more!

My daughters are pleased with these pens. They like the distinctive lilac coloured design of the pen barrels. The pens have a plastic popper at the end which extend and retract the pen nibs. Three of the pens have a thin soft silicon grip. This provide more comfort and control. The fourth pen barrel has transparent smooth plastic near its nib. It is less pleasurable to use. There is a protective seal over the new pen nibs to prevent leaking. Once removed the pens write very smoothly. It is easy to write neatly and the blank ink dries quickly. The pens come in a plain, thin white cardboard box. The pricing seems fair, given that the pens are being sold in small quantity.
