I bought the Philips Series 5000 All-in-One Trimmer (MG5950/15) mainly for weekly beard trimming and occasional hair edge clean-ups, and I’m very happy with the purchase. The motor is noticeably powerful for a cordless trimmer. It cuts through thick beard hair without pulling or slowing down, which was a big issue with a previous trimmer I returned. The blades feel sharp and precise, and the wide cutting head makes beard and hair trimming faster and more even. Battery life is a big plus. A single charge lasts a very long time (Philips claims 120 minutes and that feels accurate). The LED indicator is simple but clear: blinking while charging, solid when fully charged. No guessing needed. I also really like that it’s fully washable (wet & dry). Cleaning is quick and easy—just rinse under the tap. The build quality feels solid and premium for this price range, and the attachments click on securely. It comes with plenty of useful attachments without feeling overcomplicated. I don’t need a barber-level kit, and this is perfect for home use—beard, hair edges, and even body grooming. Overall, this is an excellent value trimmer: strong motor, long battery life, reliable brand, and no unnecessary gimmicks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable all-in-one grooming tool.

Versatile shaver. Instructions could be clearer, but seems to be well made.

I have been using Philips beard trimmers for over 10 years. The last one I had was a MG5730/13 Which I bought in 2017. Only upgraded as the battery is starting to give out This trimmer is better than the last. Comfortable to hold and enough guard levels to get the perfect beard you want. Advertised as waterproof and if fully charged in about an hour The provide a usb a to kettle lead adaptor which makes no sense but it is what it is so be sure to have a usb a adaptor available I have found that the guards do not fit as tight and snug as the previous version I owned. However I can use the previous versions guard on this and they are a tight fit There are 2 adjustable guards provided but due to the nature of this there is slide play in when pressure is applied. Not a massive amount of play but from the quality I had before I expected the same high level of quality with this Because of this I want to give this a 4.5 but I can’t. So will give it a 4

I don't very often bother with reviews but after much searching and checking specification I chose this item. I am really pleased I did, not only with its performance but the amount of trimming option tools you get with it, every facial and body hair trim is supplied, and the final big plus is that you can use it wet. So what is not to like, great product, great price.

Muy buena relación calidad precio, la tengo ya un tiempo y ninguna queja importante, la batería le dura muchísimo, y tiene accesorios para prácticamente todo, en general la máquina funciona muy bien, se limpia muy fácil, podría venir con una bolsa para guardarlo todo eso si..

The one I bought from Philips before this one broke just outside the warranty. This one broke within 6 months. Their quality is terrible, which generates unnecessary e-waste

Tondeuse très complète et pratique. Le kit tout-en-un 12 en 1 permet de s’occuper du visage, de la tête et du corps avec un seul appareil, ce qui est très pratique pour gagner du temps. Les 14 hauteurs de coupe (0,5 à 16 mm) offrent beaucoup de flexibilité selon le style souhaité. La prise en main est confortable, les lames sont précises et le résultat est uniforme. La tondeuse fonctionne sans accroc sur différents types de poils et la batterie tient bien pour plusieurs utilisations. Petit point à noter : certains accessoires sont un peu petits et demandent un peu de patience pour les fixer correctement. En résumé, c’est un outil polyvalent et efficace, idéal pour ceux qui veulent tout faire avec une seule tondeuse. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Utilisé pour faire la barbe, je ne me suis pas fait pincé comme avec mon ancienne tondeuse.
