All GeForces are compatible with amd motherboards.

Q: Good for ms flight sim?

I can answer this in a little more detail. FSX-SE will run the same as with your previous card, as it leans on CPU for pretty much everything. I installed Dovetail Games Flight Sim World (only available if you bought it back them, failed reb00t of FSX). That ran better due to it leaning on GPU more. The 2020 sim will need a card with at least 6GB of VRam, at least :)

Q: does it come with a base overclocking system, and RGB lighting ?

This card comes Overclocked by Asus and any further overclocking breaks the architecture of the card as it's unplugged and runs off of the pci-e slots power. It's not rgb. It's a very basic card. But performance is solid out of the box.

Q: Does graphics card require connecting to psu?

Dear James S No, this graphic card doesn't need to connect to PSU but your PSU most has 300w power as minimum power. Thanks
