Hard to get it to latch
I got this to help install my shade cloth, I have two different types of cloth, it works great on the new cloth, but my older one has a much thicker band around the edges, I could not get it to work on the banding, I was able to get it through the cloth itself and was successful with my insulation, has been working fine, my plan next year is to replace my older cloth, and it will work fine. I gave it 5 stars because it works fine on my new cloth.

Great product for the money
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these for the value. They turned out to be good and the only issue I had was removing them to re-use. The locking tab would break off if I wasn't very careful. Once they get a long exposure to uv they break if you try to remove them but hold fi e as long as you leave them in place.

They work with the right closing technique
These clips work well once you get the technique of closing them. Basically you should loop it over the wire or rope, slowly squeeze until the center locking pin begins to come through the opposite side. Then, while holding it partially closed, push up on the circle side that is slightly lower than the other circle side - squeeze in slowly while pushing up to line all the pins. Squeeze closed. We snapped off several center pins before this technique developed. The homeowner used spray foam to fill the woodpecker holes before we put up netting as pictured.

Hard plastic that lasted a season.
Was really excited about these but they didn't work out. They down slide on the cables easy and eventually tear the shade cloth. If you needed something more stationary these might work but I still think it will cause damage to your shade cloth over time.

Save your money
Do not work!! Extremely hard to close, used pliers, and it was still hard to get them to snap together. I was putting them on some weed guard so I can use it as a blind around the dog kennel. We guard is thin and it was still a pain in the butt. I eventually started just putting the zip ties through the weed guard because trying to get one of these to snap onto the weed guard was taking about 15 minutes each one.

Shade clips that are easy to use!
We bought a shade cloth for our 60’x30’ greenhouse and I ordered these to help secure it in place. They were very easy to clip in place and held perfectly even during a heavy storm, performing well beyond expectations. There were more than enough in the package! Well worth the price!

Perfect Clips
These clips are easy to apply, but you do need a little strength to clip them together. I was gifted a nice grommet tool but these clips work better.
