Good idea and well done

Hired a Handyman to put this up but it works good for getting out of the tub/shower and to steady us ...

Was easy to install, took about 30 minutes. It is very sturdy and my elderly parents think it's great.

Feels like a solid product, but didn't work for our bathroom.

UPDATE: It's now 2 1/2 years later. 2nd surgery went well but I needed the grab bar to safety enter & exit the shower. After all this time I still use the grab bar on a daily basis. Haven''t slipped once yet and the bar has stayed in place quite well, no slippage and haven't had to adjust it at all. I'm 5'9", weigh about 210 and I put a lot of stress on the grab bar but no problems. Due to its placement I also use it to get up & down from/to the toilet. One of the singularly best products I've ever purchased. If I move in the future, the grab bar stays here but I'll buy more for every shower/bathtub I have in the house. Can't recommend highly enough. I'm going in for a second back surgery next week. Last go around I had a lot of trouble getting in and out of the tub/shower; my wife had to help me. I had another Stander product, the Security Pole with Grab Bars and it worked great for helping me get out of my chair & bed. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Works great. I can put full weight on it and it still secure. Did have a little trouble finding the exact centers of studs for mounting and had to use longer screws than were provided but all in all I'm extremely happy and feel much safer. Highly recommend.

We are caring for our mother who had a stroke. We have a small bathroom and it is very difficult to wedge three people in there around the toilet. This device is extremely helpful. Surprisingly easy to assemble and to install for this woman. 16" studs are required. Pre-drill holes to make your life easier. Wish I could install another one in the upstairs bathroom but there is a window over the toilet.

This design was perfect as a handycap shower bar & was just what is needed, but it has only been up for 2 months and rust is starting to drip out from interior. This is happening at welded joints & small openings in tubing. Why produce a shower bar that would rust? Now what do I do to stop this from happening? I paid a building contractor to install this.

This is designed to move around and you can change the direction of the handle. It is very strong and gives support when someone needs to hang on to something. If a person has to be cleaned, dressed and /or dealt with, it is perfect for a person that can not stand by themselves very long.

This is the wall version of the Stander pole safety grab bar. It is well made. My husband uses one p, not only in the shower, but in our hallway as a grab bar to help him get up. We have two now, and I'm going to get another one. I highly recommend these.

I am delighted with my purchase of these grab rails. I already use the floor to ceiling type in my bathroom and wanted wall mounted ones for my entrance door. These are perfect to give me security when entering or leaving through my front door down steps into the porch. I have one situated on either side of the door, giving me something to hold onto at variable heights and find the ladder system absolutely perfect for the purpose.

Excellent product really helps for adults.

Very good quality, unfortunately it did not serve the purpose we needed. When I went to return the item it states that it is not returnable. After contacting the company they said that is a mistake, the item could be returned. When there are other items that we may need I will look at this company first, as the quality of their product is very good.

Great for the bathtub. Lots of angles to grab onto. easy to install and very secure. Only downside is the surface is smooth so might not be secure for wet hands. Love the adjustable, pivoting curved bar. Can be pressed flat against the wall when not needed.
