Good value and good features on this keyboard
A few things worth sharing about this keyboard: 1. The USB cable can be routed to come out of the back of the keyboard, or out of the left or right side near the back. This is a very thoughtful feature. 2. The keys themselves are very smooth when pressed, and low noise. 3. The rubber feet on the bottom provide excellent grip on the desk, and the keyboard does not slide around. 4. Software is available at the manufacturer's website to customize the keys, and to create macro functions. The software customization potential is amazing for this. Overall, this is an excellent product. I don't have any issues with it.

Love this keyboard. Can't beat the quality for this price!
I have been using WASD for years (I will always be a fan) BUT my buddy lent me his new Keychron K8 Pro and I loved it. It had their brown switches with their modified and textured OEM profile key caps. I really wanted to try one for longer but wasn't ready to fork over another 200 bucks for a nerdy-preference-based purchase of a yet another keyboard. 1. I prefer the 60% minimal keyboard (WASD VP3) but was getting frustrated that the normal mode navigation key sequence (up, down, left, right cursor keystroke) were different from my vim navigation keystrokes and I couldnt change it That is fixed with this keyboard's VIA programming support. And now my arrow keys are for music navigation and volume. 2. I am not a fan of the Cherry profile with the slick ABS key caps on my WASD. Though I did not realize that until I felt the textured modified OEM caps on my friend's Keychron K8 Pro. This keyboard has double shot shine-through legend key caps with brown switches and textured ABS (as opposed to slick ABS). They feel nice. Though I did order a set of SA profile, PBT, shine-through keycaps to swap out with. 3. The north facing backlight LEDs and the shine through textured keys were a must for me and come with this keyboard. My friend's K8 Pro did not have this (the K8 has opague legends and south facing LEDs so you would not want to try switching for shine-throughs anyway). It did have the nice profile and key texture. And I don't need a pulsing rainbow of color effects. The red on this keyboard is prefered and I only use the solid, all-on effect. So this keyboard was perfect! 4. The 'thonking clack' of these keys, switches and sound insulation backing is very satisfying and less annoying to my coworkers than my WASD (even with their insulators). I also find that my typing is more precise and noticably faster. 5. I was worried about not having the solid heft of a metal chassis with this keyboard but when it arrived it did not matter. It still had that solid heft that feels quality. 6. I did not care that this keyboard was not equipped with bluetooth. I use my keyboards wired . All around: I really enjoy this keyboard. Rare find for this price and will likely make it the default keyboard for new employees and extras around the office.

Fantastic for the price.
This mechanical keyboard is fantastic for the price! I had a Logitech G413 that was starting to jitter and repeat keypresses and I needed a decent replacement at a cheap price until I could get around to cleaning the contacts on my G413 switches. This keyboard turned out to be perfect for that. I love it so much more than the G413 and I paid nearly 3 times as much for that keyboard when I first bought it! Got it same-day delivery as well, thanks Amazon! I bought the Red Switch version (doesn't refer to the color of the keyboard, but the kind of switches the keys have; all models are black and red keycaps). The red switch version is supposed to be the quieter version compared to the brown. I don't have the brown switch version to compare to so I can't speak for it, but if you prefer your keys have more of a "clickty-clack" sound and that they require a bit more pressure to push, then you should buy the brown switch version, so I'm told. I like the Red Switch version a lot and it's supposed to be quieter, but I will admit that the keys are super easy to press which makes accidental presses more likely. Probably makes typing a bit faster though. The switches in the keyboard are not hot-swappable (board is fully soldered), but there should be no surprise there, given the price. The keycaps are fine, the (only) red backlighting looks nice, and the build quality feels great. The backlighting has 14 different modes you can toggle, using Fn+Q or Fn+PauseBreak keys, or you can turn the back light off entirely with Fn+TAB. I did get the VIA software working with this keyboard, but it does take extra work. This model keyboard hasn't been merged into VIA upstream yet, so you have to turn the "Design" tab on in VIA settings, download a json file from KeyChron's website, and load that into the VIA software in the Design tab on your browser tab. Once I did that, the keyboard was fully programmable. I programmed the right-hand side of the keyboard to function as a num-pad when layer 3 is on (which was nice because this keyboard is TKL, meaning no num-pad). Keyboard Layers 0 and 1 are for Mac and Layers 2 and 3 are for windows. VIA takes some getting used to as I hadn't used it before, but after some experimenting, it worked and I was able to program macros, swap caps-lock for the control key, do the num-pad programming I mentioned, etc. I did get myself stuck one time and some Googling showed me that the keyboard could be reset by holding ESC down while plugging the keyboard in, releasing ESC, and unplugging and replugging the keyboard. That reset all of my keys to defaults. The manual also mentions using Fn+J+Z to reset, but I haven't tried that myself. Having so much programmability in the keyboard is great! I just wish there were more indicators, like something which showed which layer was currently active. You can make your keyboard pretty unusable if you're not careful with the programming, so for novices it's probably best to watch a few YouTube videos. Of course, the programmability is completely optional. You can simply use it stock if you prefer. For the price, it's practically impossible to go wrong, as the cost of so-called midrange mechanical keyboards is 3-4x the price of this. It's worth getting just to have a backup mechanical keyboard around the house. I think it's better than my G413 and that keyboard still goes for more than $90 last I checked!

Great for value but be wary of use.
Pretty good overall, however after more than a year of use the WASD keys stopped being partially responsive. Though by the standards of this being a cheap keyboard i think its quite solid but im going to move on from this one and get something more reliable.

I've been using a full size Keychron K10 Pro at home for over a year and loved it. I didn't realize how much I loved it until I started going back into the office and used a shared desk with a cheap low profile keyboard. I made it through one day, and that was more than enough time to decide I couldn't work this way; I had to get a Keychron for work. Since I share a desk I went with the smaller Keychron C3 Pro. It's a perfect size to pop in a backpack and take with you, and has all the same programmable features (just no Bluetooth / battery like my larger K10 Pro). Being able to program keys is great for shortcuts and easy to do from the VIA webpage. I ordered the keyboard with red switches, so I don't disrupt anyone working near me. Nice firm keys with a very quite clicky sound without the clicky feel (if that makes sense). Awesome keyboard, great product, can't say anything bad about these.

*Edited to add most recent updates* Keys have become a little wonky, especially the WASD since I use those the most as a gamer. 2/5 annoyed, 5/5 disappointed* I loved everything about this keyboard, from the price point to the feel of the keys and switches. GREAT THOCKS. The whole keyboard was also heavier than I expected - which was good in my books. However, I only started using it in early October (less than 2 months now) and I just noticed that there's already some wearing down of the WSAD keys. I do play some games but it's just a casual few days a week. I expected some wear to the keys for sure, though definitely not this soon. Even the E and R keys are already more smoothed out than its neighbours. Can't say I wasn't disappointed, but I guess I should have expected this from the price.

Smooth. It's my first mechanical keyboard so I can't compare but in my 30 years of gaming this one is fantastic.
