A miracle for me.
For context and comparison, I will say that I am a 63yr old healthy, post-menopausal woman. By healthy, I mean I see doctors regularly, am on no meds, am moderately active (more when it's not winter in NYS), and probably 15-20 lbs heavier than I want to be. And by "active" I mean that I do not have any regular exercise regimen because I just can't stand them- I never keep them up. I love to walk, garden, and with my job, I just move a lot. Nutritionally: I have been a vegetarian, not a vegan, for 30 yrs. I eat dairy, and I love cheese. I drink wine with dinner on most nights. All that being said, I saw my doc on Sept 12, 2025, and my cholesterol readings were as follows: LDL 137, total choles was 219 and the cholesterol ratio was 3. (HDL fine). My doc instantly wanted to put me on meds. I told him, "No, I want to try to reduce this on my own." I didn't think my readings were THAT high, given the fact that I am post-menopausal, but whatever. I knew I wanted to lose more weight and was committed to not being on meds. I am NOT "anti meds", but they are only needed when they are needed! I began researching supplements that could help, along with diet/exercise. And I found a lot of good research on red yeast rice. I decided two things: 1. Fall/winter would mean that I prob wouldn't keep losing weight or being as active, as I typically am not during colder weather, and 2. If I changed too many things (ie weight loss, exercise, supplements) I wouldn't know what actually worked. So I just added red yeast rice to my routine and stopped trying to diet or move more. And I decided not to take the recommended amount, I took less. I took two caps nightly, starting on Nov 13. I just had my blood test yesterday. Here are the results: LDL was 137 in Sept and is down to 98. Total choles was 219 in Sept and is now 186. Cholesterol ratio in Sept was 3.0 and is now 2.4. All values are in "range" and doc and I are pleased. It only took two months. Based on the 'statin-like' effect red yeast rice can have (and I have experienced NO side effects at all), I will now reduce my intake to one capsule a day and see what my next test yields. I will still move forward with more weight loss and amping up my movement, but for now, I am THRILLED with these results. Meds are fine when indicated. But if we can use "nature" to help us, why not? Anyway, I hope this helps someone. Research, research, research! Don't just take reviews as your source. Red rice yeast is NOT a "yeast", but it's a particular mold that ferments rice. If you're allergic to mold, be cautious. Best to everyone on your health journeys.

It worked for us
My wife's problematic cholesterol numbers have been rock solid for decades regardless of anything she has ever done to improve them. Since she started on this product, her labs are showing improvement for the first time ever. I'm not about to argue with success.
