What I like most about this reader is that it handles both ID and IC cards, which saves me from having to use two different devices. It’s accurate and efficient, with no misreads so far. The build quality feels solid and it integrates well with my access control system. Very dependable tool.

Widows 11 recognizes that I have the device plugged in but it does nothing. I returned one unit thinking I got a dud. The second unit fails just as badly. I do not recommend.

Works just as expected! Plugged it in and it read my cards right away with no issues. Compact and easy to use, though the cable is a bit short. Great value for the price.

Will not work with MSA SCBA air park

I'm very happy with it. Works like it's supposed to.

It's supposed to beep through a self test. It's supposed to be plug and play. My device seems to just fail the self test. I tried multiple times, sometimes waiting up to 10 minutes. It just never stops beeping and I have to unplug it eventually. One thing that they advise in the instructions is that the plastic on the top should be removed to allow for the device to read RFID signals more accurately. This is completely false. This thin plastic barrier cannot impact how any device receives an RFID signal. This is not a huge deal for me since my device appears to not work. But it's just a red flag that this product might not have been vetted before the product release. I still removed it for the sake of the video but the reality is that this is likely just bad advice that coincides with general product quality issues. CONCLUSION I'm open to changing my mind if it's demonstrated that there is some way to get this unit working.
