Simple to use, works well. Way better option than standard bark collars.
First off, I am an experienced dog handler of Shepherds and Dobermans. E-Collars get a bad rap because people don't know how to use them properly. It is VERY important that anyone using this or any device like it understand that it is NOT meant to be a punishment or an alternative to proper training. It is a communication tool. You issue the command, if they don't honor it, you issue the command again in combo with the stimulus from the collar. You might elect to wait til the third try at the command to issue the stimulus and work your way down to the 2nd try depending on your dog, the situation, etc. High drive working breed dogs like mine sometimes need a reminder that I'm talking to them. Its a nudge, an incentive to honor commands the first time on behaviors they've already been taught. Start at the lowest setting and work your way up just until you find that sweet spot. Its likely lower than you think you'll need. Do NOT use this as a punishment for things you haven't taught them yet. Thats what reward/treats are for. Put the time in to train your dog with positive reinforcements for the desired behavior. Use this device to remind/reinforce behaviors they've already been taught. I work from home and a house full of large breed dogs can really mess up a zoom meeting so these were acquired simply to control barking and general disruptive behavior that might otherwise force me away from my desk. This device is way better than standard bark collars as you control the stimulus and if you have multiple dogs at home or in your neighborhood, any bark collar that responds to sound will be going off constantly on the dog wearing it regardless of who is barking or if the unit hears something resembling a bark. Thats cruel. I do own some of the much higher priced E-Collars which work well for off leash, hiking, public settings, etc. but can be confusing for many folks. I purchased these specifically for use at home/on my property as they were simpler for my 13yr old daughter to use and I wasn't as concerned w/battery life, wear and tear, added features, etc. at home. I am very pleased with these units. I initially purchased one and quickly got more for all my dogs. I elected to get full 2 piece sets for each dog instead of multiple collars on one hand held unit because the switching back and forth between collars can lose important seconds when correcting a dog. It was easier for me for each dog to have their own set of a different color. Theyre all lined up on my desk while I'm working making rapid correction of the offending party easy. They were inexpensive, VERY easy to program and use, battery life for me lasts up to a week. Just 3 buttons (Beep, Vibrate, electro-stimulous). I only use the vibrate and beep options which is enough. As with most e-collar training, once the dog knows the consequence of not minding a command, they quickly mind the command the first time. They understand what the collar is and behave better simply by wearing it or seeing you reach for it. My house is MUCH quieter. Thank you.

Excellent Training Aid, All Modes Work Well!
Easy to use, effective training aid. All modes work well and stimulation and vibration are adjustable, while the beep mode can be set to different tones. As an experienced dog owner who has trained many dogs in my life, I highly recommend this training collar. In January my best trained dog that never really even needed a leash and would respond to voice commands or hand signals died. I went to the animal shelter and adopted an 18-month-old highly energetic dog (pointer mix). She was dragging the attendant down the hall when they brought her out for me to meet her. I started my usual training with leash and choke chain and had her walking beside me within the first 2 days. At the time she hadn't learned to respond to her new name (she didn't respond to the name the animal shelter gave her either). and so, I ordered a 20-foot leash and this e-collar. In my training I decided to use the beep mode strictly for recall. So, as I was training her to "come" I would stand at the end of the long training lead and say, "Duchess, come" and at the same time hit the beep button while pulling her to me with the training lead. In just a short time she had learned the commands both "come" and beep. Now whenever I hit the beep button she immediately comes to me. This works in every situation I have tried it, including in the midst of a bunch of dogs at the dog park, even if she is 100 yards away. This is much better than having to loudly call her name! The vibration and shock modes have been used for other training reinforcement. Now when we are walking on leash and she needs a correction I will use the vibration. There have been a few situations where I have had to get her attention with the shock mode, but not very often. I walked her through colonial Williamsburg and the downtown area this past week and she did very well staying beside me without pulling. I used the vibrate mode a couple of times and the shock mode once to get her attention when she was distracted by other dogs. Be sure to use this as a training aid to reinforce commands that you have already taught, or, as explained in my 2nd paragraph above, in conjunction with other commands so the dog will not be confused, but understand what you expect. Above all, in your training remain calm and be consistent with your training and commands. UPDATE: I had originally posted that the collar stopped working after my dog went swimming in a creek. It would turn on but none of the modes would work. I contacted Jugbow support and got this reply: "I suspect the receiver and transmitter haven't been paired successfully. Here are the pairing steps for the collar: While the receiver is in off mode, long-press the power button for 5 seconds. The indicator light on the receiver will start flashing. Select an appropriate channel on the transmitter, then press any button labeled "Sound", "Vibration", or "Shock". The receiver will beep, indicating a successful pairing." I followed those instructions and the collar is working just as it is supposed to! Duchess still has a way to go in order to be as well trained as my previous dog. But she's getting there!

Great quality, small and effective for training your dog.
I'm really impress with the quality of both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter has auto shutoff when the buttons are locked. The receiver (collar) has and on/off button which is really nice to help conserve the battery when not in use. Easy set up and features two channels so you could potentially add a second collar and control both using the single remote control. I also like the small design of the receiver on the collar, much nicer than my previous model from a few years ago. My dog responds very well to the beep so I don't have to use the the other features but they work, I tried them on myself before putting it on my dog. It comes with a couple of extra prongs for the collar as well as some rubber buttons to go over them to prevent accidental shock and irritation.

Great product, Listen to the Reviews! A five star quality product!
Product arrived today came very quickly. It came already pre-programmed. It's pretty easy to adjust the settings. An once you adjust the settings you can lock those settings per se into what you chose, you can lock all 3 of them. Meaning they wont work at all, if u slide the side button into lock position & when you're ready to use it , just slide the side button back to unlock , then you can press the option of beep, vibrate or shock that you need. it works well easy to control. Will do the job has different types of beeps in setting on 3 to get your dog's attention, some are higher pitched, some are, a little bit lower pitched, but you can hear all of them. It's probably a good idea to change it around, so he/she doesn't get used to the same beep every time. So if your dog is chewing on something and not listening to you, you can beep it, to get his attention. If he still continues to do it, you can make it vibrate. Only vibrates on that option, it does not hurt him. It just feels like a vibration if he's continuing to do something detrimental to himself or someone else, then you can put it on a shock, you only need it on, maybe a setting 1 or 2, sends a little electrical current. It definitely will get his attention without hurting him. but if you have a breed, That can hurt someone or himself by not listening until they are fully trained. But it's good to have, because just like humans, we all make mistakes and with a dog. All you need is that one mistake to get run over or get taken away from you? So yes, I've seen some reviews where people say it's inhumane or mean, but would you rather lose your dog if they bit someone or somebody else's pet thinking they were protecting you. I do suggest this. We have a rottweiler puppy. That is 55 pounds at 4 months old. His dad was a 154 pounds. He's going to be huge, he has temper tantrums sometimes and is testing us. We're familiar with the breed, but we are older, so sometimes he's hard to handle. Even though it's both of us working with him daily But it will shock the crap out of you, on setting 3, I got to test it out on hubby was the best funnest part! It's definitely a good training tool. It's high quality came already programmed. Paired with the one collar. It is easy to see, it has a digital screen. It's about the size of a 2 way radio, you can carry it in your hand as you're walking, is it has a little wrist loop., i'm glad I read the other reviews. You could scroll through these for hours. This is the best price for a quality product and it's easy to use. And understand. it is a good training collar. you don't have to shock your dog, you can just use the buzzer or send a vibration. The beep, or low voltage shockwave, if he was running out in the road or going to bite someone or chasing another dog. something Like that, that would keep you from losing your dog. a lot of people Yes, think it's inhumane, but so is having your taken away. 99% of the time that 1 low shock they've got it. And once they have the collar on after the beep an the buzz. they know what's next. You never have to use it, The shock part again. I did a very detailed video review.Yes, it's long, but I covered everything. This product does I saw a lot of videos.People just went over a few things. I went over everthing, A great product! 5 STARS! DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER, JUST GET THIS.AND THANK ME LATER.

good product and warranty support
I purchased this item in Sept. of 2024. It worked great on a daily basis. I began to have a problem activating the collar and contacted Jugbow. After a couple of exchanges they sent me a new collar and remote. I am very pleased with both the product and their support. I would certainly recommend to friends.

Best bang for your buck!
Bought this for our shepherd coyote, I was skeptical with the price vs quality comparison but it worked perfectly! We really only needed the beep setting for when people come down the driveway as he gets excited and has started jumping on cars, now he stays on the deck happy as can be. battery life is great and they are both rechargeable. The collar its self is extremely loud even for us to hear. The collar did need some trimming to fit because they do send you plenty of extra collar. Over all id say its very easy to use, self explanatory really, and for the money your really can't beat It.

Not for water use
This is the second collar, same company and collar, that has gone out within six months of using. Once it’s submerged in water, the connection dies and is ineffective. Worked great until it gets wet; not the best option for retrieving dogs.

NOT EFFECTIVE FOR GIANT BREED DOGS! :(
NOT EFFECTIVE ON GIANT BREED DOGS!!! :( If you want to be chasing after your horse size dog while he’s laughing at you and acting like a total clown buy this collar. If you want something effective buy something that’s higher quality!! I had this collar for about a week and that’s all it took to know that it was not going to work for my dog. I have a 130lbs. 1 year old (in tact) male Great Dane who’s an absolute sweetheart but is stubborn, highly distracted, and absolutely needs to have the option of being held accountable with an E-collar when off leash. With little or no distractions my dog is great, and will recall perfectly without me even touching the E-collar, so I know he KNOWS the command and what I’m asking of him. This isn’t my first rodeo with an E-collar either. We had an older E-collar (different brand) that we trained multiple dogs on that was great, but finally started to give out after about 4 years. Our old collar was good enough while my Dane was a pup, but I knew he was going to be needing something more effective soon. I was finally going to cosplay as someone in a different tax bracket and purchase a big name expensive collar, but as a last ditch effort I fell for the great reviews and ads for this Jugbow collar. I didn’t see any reviews on testing this collar on a giant breed dog (probably because other owners had more sense than me), so I thought I could be of some use and test it out on my pup either way. Upon opening, I actually had really high hopes for it. It seemed well made for the most part, and when testing it out on myself it worked great. I was a little worried my dog might be thrown off having used our old collar for a while now, but he adjusted quickly. The first few days went great and my dog responded well to the beep and vibrate setting in multiple low distraction settings (rarely do I need to shock him). Today was the day I knew this collar wasn’t going to work for us though….Our neighborhood bumps up against a green belt area that’s perfect for letting the dogs explore off leash. Every now and then my pup will get a wild hair up his butt and full blown SPRINT back to our neighbors to run up and down the fence line with their dogs. When this happens he couldn’t care less about anything other than those dogs and having a good time unless I give him ALL of the warnings AND eventually hit him with the shock. When I do finally shock him he will correct himself and come back, BUT TODAY?!?! Nope!! This MF didn’t care at all!! It didn’t matter if I called his name, beeped him, hit him with the vibrate on the highest setting, or even shocked him on the highest setting…he was not phased!! At one point I was so desperate I was just pressing buttons at random (absolutely do not do this I 100% know better and it confuses the crap out of your dog) but like I said I was desperate for anything to work at that point. I also knew I was well within the range of the collar. I originally had the shock set to a 10 because this is where he first “noticed” it when trying the collar on, but I made it all the way to 99 when this little situation was all said and done. My dog didn’t look like he was even slightly bothered by the shock!! He was looking at me like, “This is what you get for buying the cheap collar woman!!” Needless to say, I’ll be returning this collar because in an emergency situation or high distraction setting it obviously just isn’t effective. I also don’t want to teach him that listening is optional. To be fair, a majority of collars aren’t super effective on giant breed dogs, so I’m not surprised this one didn’t work out for us. It may be a great if your dog did only need the beep, vibrate, or has almost perfect recall skills even in a high distraction setting. I could see this collar being more effective on smaller dogs. I do think there’s promise for this collar, but it’s just not meant for x-large or giant breed dogs. I do like that this company is trying to make E-Collars more affordable and not have such a high barrier of entry to these types of training tools. If this truly was the only E-collar someone could afford I think it would still be a decent training tool to start your dog on, and much better than no E-Collar at all. Yes, I’m sad AF because I did just purchase a $300 Dogtra collar before writing this review.
