Transferring videos from GoPro to phone by WiFi can be tedious, this makes it so simple. I wasn't sure quite how to get started with the process, but as soon as you plug this in with a microSD card loaded, your iPhone will popup a notification on the screen and take you right to the GoPro app! Very very easy to use, and a really great way to transfer photos and videos quickly.

While this is another example of another overpriced accessory for an iPhone I do love the form factor, the case, and the clip. It does just what you think it does. It allows you to transfer data from a micro SD card into your iPhone. There are less expensive ones out there that support more than just the iPhone. I bought this one only because I had reward points on my Amazon Visa so I didn't really pay for it.If it were my money I would choose a different card reader since they all do the same thing.

OK. So. I bought this device to download photos from my various cameras to my iPhone quickly. Wireless is slow and I thought this would be efficient. The device worked exactly twice.I spent 2 hours on chat (the person disconnected while I was performing the tasks they recommended), and on the phone, the first person disconnected, the second person walked me through a bunch of steps that ended up destroying my 64gb microSD card.THIS DEVICE DOES NOT WORK. AND NOW I'VE GOT AN SD CARD THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER.I am ready to throw every GoPro thing I own out the window of a very tall building. It was a huge waste of time and money and I'm livid. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE.

I was expected this to be a simple file transfer to iphone devices not having to install an additonal app. Also for videos that were longer that 17mins on the Hero 2018 it split them into additional segmented videos and wouldn't load properly in the app. Also the upload time wasn't what I was expected either, I guess I'm just used to faster speeds on my laptop. I wouldn't recommend using this if you plan on uploading videos longer than 10 mins. Anything smaller should be okay.

Confusing ... it doesn’t recognize wether it’s transferring data to ipad or iPhone.Also can’t download recent photos or videos directly... must wait for video transfer then to be told it can’t because it is the wrong format.With a bit of patience and trial and error... one can get the data transferred to my iPad.Simple instructions would be welcome!
