This is a well made set at a good price. The magnets make this set perfect for our family. The pieces are easy to move but stay in place well. I find the size more than enough, with room to move. It’s great for travel too because it folds up and becomes even more compact. Our family gives this set all 5 stars!!

I am a teacher and a coach who somehow have formed this club with my kids at lunch. I noticed they were always on their cellphones and I wanted them to engage more with one another. I purchased this board for its storage capabilities and the fact that it was both checkers and chess. The magnetic functions are wonderful as the pieces stay firm in their locations. The kids have all tried and learned how to play chess and have remained engaged and now competitive. It has been a great addition to the office.The storage behind the board makes it easy to recognize if a piece is missing. With High School kids, this is very important as they tend to lose things very easily.

Purchased this as a gift for my nephew. The fact it is magnetic and has room for all the kings horses and men when stored makes it a great buy. My nephew is enjoying learning this advanced game while scratching the itch for thinking critically and two steps ahead of his component!

Great fun for stay at home date nights with your spouse. Neither one of us are chess players but we are learning now. Not flimsy at all and exceptional quality.

Nice set. Checkers are not magnetic though, just the chess pieces which was a disappointment.

Neat how all the parts fit in the closed up board. Good chess and checker board. Easy to store pieces and see what is missing. The bottom of it has a foam with all the parts in it.
