My hubs avoids alcohol, so was I surprised when a friend introduced me to this and it was divine! We are always putting it in smoothies! I don't understand how they extract it. While it appears to be water, I suspect it's glycerine.

I had to buy alcohol-free vanilla extract being on the (anti-)Candida diet and saw this. I'm addicted to vanilla (and dark chocolate) and add it to a lot of things. I am happy with this product and one bottle hasn't even lasted me a whole 3 weeks! I will definitely be ordering more very soon!

It does not smell nor taste like vanilla

The vanilla has a great taste and will last a long time. You only need a few drops. The only issue with needing a few drops however, is not being able to neatly dispense the vanilla with the bottle it comes in. You would need to purchase a dropper or transfer a part of the vanilla into a bottle with a single hole top! I tried a salt shaker but it still makes a mess because of the several holes in the top and that will waste the vanilla as well. I could not see how to contact the company with a second question. Maybe they will see this and let us know how they neatly dispense the vanilla. Otherwise it is a good buy because of its concentration and great taste.
