We purchased the 2019 edition for a prior trip to Rome. We've always liked these DK Top Ten books. Informative, compact and resists abuse.

It is narrow book, not veey thick, a good book to travel with, bright colored pictures, towards back it has best of each area. It has street smart tips....I am about 3/4 the way through it and it will go with me on our upcoming trip.

I thought in the digital world I would not be using a paper guide but I was wrong. It was very handy and provided information to all the sights and churches, little streets we visited. A great overview, very well put, the size is good to carry around in a handbag

A good overview of the city for first-time visitors. Used the previous edition three years ago,and found it very helpful.

Good size, map helpful although used google maps most of time

To the point, well written and of good quality. Useful mapping. Recommendations used were accurate, namely bars and restaurants. Helpful for initial planning I.e. airport to the city transportation. Will buy other such guidebooks in future.
