Update- Juncos and house finches are actively using it; squirrels have tried but can’t get in! I put this out in my yard for the juncos that will be coming back soon. After 3 days outside, the squirrels have been unsuccessful at getting in. It’s built really sturdy (more so than I expected). I tightened two of the screws on the lid/cage to ensure squirrels couldn’t open it but also ease of cleaning, and it’s working. I will update this review again once the juncos come back for the winter.

I absolutely love this bird feeder, it is strong and well-made, and looks great... Only one big issue, squirrels ARE able to wiggle in thru some of the cage holes in a row that are larger than 1.5 inches. Can the cage be produced with truly 1.5-inch (or smaller) openings? I love my bluebirds and other med-small birds that visit it, but the squirrels will get in and just sit there eating lots of bird food and discouraging the birds! I have it attached to my outside deck top railing, with a tough elastic bungee cord wrapped around it and the deck railing. I have an experiment in progress to rope off the larger openings to truly keep squirrels out. Fingers crossed this works! If so, I may buy another.

Very sturdy, well made feeder but not squirrel proof. In fact, it is very dangerous for squirrels. I just had to cut the wires to free this little guy after he got stuck in them trying to get out. Needless to say, cage is no longer useable.

Got this feeder for my mom, who had blackbirds chasing away the smaller birds and eating all the birdseed. It works great! Every once in awhile a larger bird gets in, but that's only happened a couple times in the last year. (Feeder worked so well I got her a second one.) Doesn't require much assembly. Keeps out doves, pigeons, starlings, cowbirds, blackbirds, etc. Sparrows, finches, juncos, etc can fit right thru the bars and enjoy lunch! The only thing that would make this better would be some kind of canopy to keep out rain/snow. A bit expensive, but it is sturdy and durable, lasting a very long time (even in the Colorado elements).

It's fun to watch because the bird actually dive in. The hanging one works the best.

I have many Kingsyard products and have been impressed with the quality and weather resistance of them. Not so much with this one. It is imperative to me that this product have a sturdy screen to keep out various anticipated ground critters. But the weld on one of the mounting plates was defective so I ordered a replacement from Amazon. The welds on the replacement were even worse than the first one, with the plate loose and crooked. I requested a replacement from Amazon but was only offered a refund, and it was suggested that I contact Kingsyard. I follow the contact procedure and received no response. Very disappointed both in poor customer relations and quality assurance on the part of Kingsyard.

High quality, easy to assemble! It can be hung from the corners if need be! I did that to keep rodents out over night! Kingsyard products are excellent

This bird feeder is ideal the Starlings can’t make it out they can’t reach the food in the bottom. It should also be called Starling proof as well. It’s a very good feeder well made but a little bit pricey

I have a great many feeders for birds but this is the best

it keeps big birds out! wish it could be suspended. as it sits on the ground, I take it in at night to keep raccoons away ftom it.
