All Regions. Mars. Days before Halloween 2071. Villains blow up a tanker truck on Highway One, releasing a deadly virus that kills hundreds. Fearing a bigger, even more devastating biochemical attack, an astronomical reward is offered for the arrest and capture of the person behind the destruction. On the spaceship “Bebop,” Spike Spiegel and his crew of bounty hunters (Jet Black, Faye Valentine, Ed and Ein) are bored and short of cash. But with the news of the reward everything changes. Based on the wildly popular TV series, Cowboy Bebop, the big-screen smash Cowboy Bebop: The Movie pits Spike and Co. against their deadliest adversary ever. Featuring stunning, state-of-the-art animation, this action-packed sci-fi adventure builds to a breath-taking, nail-biting climax, guaranteed to keep you hanging on the edge of your seat. Review: Perfect - Love this movie and a must have since it's not on any streaming apps. Came on time in perfect condition! Review: A nice piece of Anime' goodness - I was first exposed to Cowboy Bebop, form a nerdy anime' obssessed roomate in college, circa 2001. Even though, I found his love of anime annoying, I was really happy that he exposed me to this movie. The story focuses on a bounty hunter Spike Spiegel, who is a swanky dressed fella ( not as swanky as DOG the bounty hunter of course), and his crew. The setting of the movie takes place on a terra-foremed Mars, which looks pretty much like New York City. And even though it is set in the future, people still wear shirts and paints ( not neon jumpsuits) and shoot guns ( not disruptor rays). The movie focuses aroung stopping a terrorist plot, which is relevant to today, and very believable. I personally think that the futuristic, yet believable, setting made this movie appealing to me. The drawing and the animation are quite awesome as well. I really like the depiction of everyday street scenes in the intro, credits, and other montages: this made the movie seem more believable in a way. Another cool thing about this film (for those of us of a western/ english speaking persuasion) is the english soundtrack that plays throughout the movie (which is also present in the Japanese original). We don't get any high pitched J-POP anthems, common to many other anime films, that I could do without, with. The soundtrack has a rocky/indie vibe to it, which I think fits the setting and tone of the movie pretty well. I am not an anime fan, for the most part, but when it is done well, this medium delivers the kind of cinema, that cannot be attained by any other medium. I think all anime fans will like this movie, and for the person who just wants to test the waters, this movie is a good place to start. I do not think anyone will be dissapointed with this movie, and check out the series as well, if you like it.

Fantastic Movie
It's slightly different in style from the show (the influence of the 90s is felt more in the film than in the show), but still holds the same charm with the same characters. Love it, it's a must-own for any fans out there (be it Blu-ray or DVD, doesn't matter to me). I have both the series and the film, which means my life is complete. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is set between episodes 22 and 23 of the original series. Edit: I'm not sure what was unhelpful about my review; I will say that complaints about the audio are - in my opinion - superfluous. I use stereo for my computer (and most TVs are stereo by default) so I hadn't even considered 5.1 audio. The fact that the Blu-ray disc doesn't have 5.1 makes absolutely no difference to me. Also, there are no bonus features in the Blu-ray version of the film. SPOILERS: The premise is that a mysterious man is committing acts of bio-terrorism and a 300,000,000W reward is posted for him. Spike and gang are on the hunt, and things get deadly, quickly. You'll find the plot thickens as the man is revealed to be an experiment in bio-weaponry which went awry. The terrorist, a man named Vincent Volaju, is a former member of a military squad apparently killed in the "Titan War." However, Vincent was actually the only survivor of a test involving the pathogen he's spreading, having been immunized with a test vaccine: made an amnesic, he suffers from hallucinations, and his inability to tell dreams from reality eventually drove him insane.

The Latest Fan Of Cowboy Bebop!
Despite being a longtime fan of Japanese animation, I had never watched a single episode nor even a video clip of the Cowboy Bebop cartoon/animation property, although I had heard of it. I figured that I'd get acquainted with the property via this stand-alone movie, and I must say that I'm in the early stages of being hooked on the franchise itself. I really enjoyed the story and all aspects of its presentation (the animation/visual art, the voice-acting, and the music), so much so that I've now ordered the 25th anniversary special edition to get even more acquainted with the franchise. The copy of the [movie] Blu-ray I purchased had the default audio (dialogue) of Japanese, which I thought I just had to accept (because the disc menu didn't contain a typical means to switch to English), but while the film was playing, I simply pressed the Audio button on my remote [twice], and the voicing immediately switched to English dialogue. (Thank goodness too, because I was just about to order another copy, but with an English default). I'm happy with the product (the animation itself, as well as the excellent condition of the disc, the case, and packaging), and I'll be rewatching the film often.

Dont buy it if ur from india coz u wont b able to watch it. It wont play in ur dvd player. If your buying it just to support the creator's works then fine. Otherwise its a waste of money. It wont play until n unless ur in usa or canada.
