Autoswitches!
My previous splitter was a hassle to use. Manual, 4k60hz, and would cause frame drops and screen blackouts with my PS5 and weird frame color corruption issues with my PS3. Alongside upgrading all my cables to HDMI 2.1, I also invested in this splitter. There's a couple of things about this particular splitter I quite like. First, it requires power. For some this may be a downside, but this enables other handy features this device can do, and ensures the transferring of video data is more or less seamless. My only complaint here is that the provided USB C cable is far too short, and no charger block is included. Luckily I have tons of cables to spare, as well as a power strip with USB ports, but this may be something to consider. Second, this thing is compact and sleek! I like that all of the ports are in the back of the device. Being a fan of cable management, it's nice to make things as tidy as possible. Third, IT AUTO SWITCHES! You can use the remote if it doesn't cooperate (which includes shutting the splitter on and off), but as seen in the video, it detects when a new device is powered on and automatically switches to it. This is particularly fantastic for consoles. I have my Switch, PS3, and PS5 connected to this splitter, and it is able to detect and seamlessly switch to each device. It operates on recency, so whatever device was powered on most recently will be the input it switches to. Luckily, though, the device comes with a remote so you can switch the splitter on, and to whatever HDMI you want, without getting up. You do have to toggle on the remote (there's a button for this, don't forget to do this), but once it's done it is responsive and works well. Overall, I am happy with this product. Time will tell if I experience the issues I was having previously with my devices, but I feel confident that this in combination with the most modern HDMI cables should let me get back to gaming without issue!

Works as advertised but problem with first shipment.
This is for the replacement item I received: This device works great, no issues at all. Ignore all negative reviews as most of them are wrong. The device works as advertised with full 120Hz support on 4k and 1440P, remote works great and other devices that control the TV etc. will not make the switcher change to other inputs, it does not share the same singles as other devices. Very easy to use, great audio quality and great value for money spent, I would say this is even worth it at full price as well. I have no clue about auto switching and auto detection since I have that off. Original delivery: Wrong item was sent in the correct box, and box was also open shown in the screenshots. The flap used to close the box was also damaged but not shown in any screenshots. What happened here is Amazon did not properly check to make sure the correct product was inside the box before shipping it out (they failed to notice that the seal was broken), someone bought this product and the SGEYR HDMI 2.0 Switch 4 Port (Amazon seems to hate links even from Amazon so I won't do that) as well, took out the Fosmon 5-Port out of its box and put the SGEYR 4+1 product in the Fosmon 5-Port box and had it returned which is obviously fraud but because Amazon did not check the contents of the box before putting back up for sale I was given the wrong item.

Good switcher
Works very well. The only thing that could be improved is the remote control. It's too directional. When the remote is off to the side even a little, the switcher doesn't respond all the time.

Bad HDMI Switch overall, Do Not Buy.....
When playing any game in 120hz using this 5-Port 8K HDMI switch the screen flickers until I have to go into the Game menu, Device/Electronic/Tech settings or 4K UHDTV settings to set it back to 60hz to prevent that from happening. No matter which of the 5 HDMI ports I use the random frequent disconnects showing the "No Signal" message still happens when using this 5-Port HDMI 8K Switch, Yes all the HDMI cords are plugged into the ports in full & Connected correctly. The auto-switch function doesn't work properly when I turn off one of the devices/electronics/tech etc. I'm using it doesn't instantly switch over to the next HDMI port that's in use where I have to use the Remote or Get up to move towards this 5-Port HDMI 8K Switch to press the Select button to set it on one the HDMI ports that's active. The one I already have for 6+ years that's up to HDMI 2.0 standards does the auto-switch function flawlessly with no problems. Yes the USB power brick / wall charger I used has the proper voltage to power on this device is not the problem. (Fosmon decided not to include a USB power brick / wall charger where we have to use any we have at home or We have to buy another one, Bad decision on this company for thinking that's a good idea not to include one with this HDMI Switch, IMO.) It's not my 2024 4k QD-Mini LED etc. TV, Not my HDMI cables, Not my devices/electronics/techs & Overall this Fosmon HDMI 8K Switch that is the problem as I never had these problems/issues(that I've mentioned/said in this review) from my current HDMI 2.0 switch(at the time I've posted a review on 6+ years ago when the item was available on amazon.com) I have for 6+ years. I feel that this item/product was rushed into the market without any QA/R&D being done to detect these problems before having this available to be on sale for anyone to buy.

Works as advertised!!!
Does exactly what it advertises. Passes all formats. I have a Series X, PS5, and a Switch 2. 4k? Check. 120? Yup. HDR. Yes sir. Comes with remote. It works fine. Auto switching work well also. Its usb powered. No power adapter. I plug it into a spare usb port on my tv. It has a small footprint and is made of metal. I bought a used like new one. Work's flawlessly and looks brand new. Also saved me $6. Highly recommend. Screenshot of Series X and PS5 passing all signals.

Very capable little switching box, works a treat with no issues or niggles. The ability to switch between auto and manual modes is really appreciated, as although auto-switching can be handy, there are times when it's a PITA frankly. As least with this model, you do have a choice. It is worth going to the trouble of powering it with a 5V feed via a micro-USB adaptor. All connections are at the rear, keeping the front neat and tidy. Good stuff, and on a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.
