Decided to replace my hyperx quadcast, looked at the shure mv7 but saw a review of this pitted against the shure and others and thought for the price it looked very good, so decided to tey it. Im so glad i did. Sound quity is superb. Plug and play compatibility is easy to set uo. Quality if the mic is good. Wierd getting used to talking into the front top of it as my last one was all over pick up. Weight wise its not heavy and well built. Rgb looks cool and if its too bright you can turn it down in the maono link software. Overall im very happy with my purchase and never heard of this comoany before but happy i took the chance. Ive had expensive mics before and have to say sound quality is up there for sure even though its on a budget. Well worth considering if you want a good looking quality stand alone mic

I happened to be in the market for a new microphone since mine was not able to keep up with what I wanted to do anymore, and so this is what I happened to buy. This microphone is GREAT value. I picked up on black Friday deal too for an even better deal. This has to be a great contender for professional microphones for youtube/ twitch etc. The sound quality is just... Mind blowing for the price, my friends said I sounded like me, clear and crisp. Whihc is exactly what I want. They also noted they couldn't hear any tapping/ feedback from surrounding audio/ noises from the mic, even when tapping hardly on top of the mic. The buttons are tactile and expensive in feeling too. And the design is sleek and will fit in with just about any set up you can think of. Maono link (external website) takes this further by allowing you to be able to control some additional features of the microphone. Appearing as a nice new feature to brighten up your room with the RGB ring light.. which I'll get to in a moment. Finally the installation for me was great, I took my old mic off my boom arm (also by maono) and installed this one right onto it. No problems added (they do send a conversion piece with the mic incase you aren't as fortunate as me) The one downside I have to this is the RGB butten seems to have some problems if you try and flick through the different options quickly, which seems to confuse it... but hey, it's a mic, I'm not here for the RGB, although it does look beautiful on it. Overall this is a brilliant sounding & good quality mic for the price, worthy of condensing much more pricey mics for streaming & Audio recording. Not 100% TOP notch, but still a great professional, powerful piece of kit. HIGHLY recommended for anyone looking for a Mic round this price point :)

I bought this microphone as the one I was using was an extremely old microphone. I set it up using the UBS-C to USB-A the "plug and play" feature is extremely useful. I use it to talk to friends is Discord and for content creation and its incredibly good. The sound quality is even better than I excepted and it look great too!. Anyone who's creating a podcast, streaming, or content creation this would be great budget microphone.

Just simply one of the best microphones that I've owned to date - so good that I rarely ever use my Shure SM7B or Røde PodMic and as for my other microphones that I have such as the Fifine and Tonor branded collection that I have, these have be sold off. As a YouTube Tech reviewer and advisor myself I just can't understand why the Maono pd200x is so cheap and I'd love to see how Maonos PD200W, PD300X and PD400X can do much better as the PD200X is practically faultless in its sound reproduction quality (especially for my voice type) and its build quality despite it being made from plastic, remains extremely very high-quality along with the hidden bonus of being nice and light because of the plastic materials used. I think that all other manufacturers are going to struggle to beat this microphones performance along with keeping the cost close to what this one retails at. So a massive THANK YOU to Maono for this superb microphone, and it's very clear that Maono simply puts its customers satisfaction first before their own satisfaction and profit margins So if your after a microphone that punches well above its weight along with its sound reproduction being as good if not better (in my own opinion) than such microphones as the Shure sm7b or the Røde PodMic that'll set you back 3x (Røde podmic) and 6/7x (Shure SM7B) more, then the Maono pd200x should be the one to go for (and if its not right for you then you always have the option to return with nothing being lost) The easiest 5 out of 5 star rating from myself

I’ve been using this same microphone for 2 years. I’ll probably never get another brand! This is truly the biggest bang for your buck that I’ve encountered trying to find an affordable but high quality microphone. It is so crisp and does an amazing job at noise compression. No one can hear the air blowing, chewing, not anything besides when you speak. So if you are in search for an affordable streaming microphone, or just a microphone you want to use to talk to your friends… TRUST MEEEE, you will not get bullied about having a “Dollar General” mic hahaha. You will get compliments trusttt

J’utilise ce micro MAONO dynamique XLR-USB depuis un moment pour mes vidéos face cam, mes podcasts et quelques enregistrements plus classiques, et il fait vraiment un excellent travail. La qualité sonore est propre, chaleureuse et très agréable à écouter, avec une bonne réduction des bruits de fond grâce à la capsule dynamique. Le gros avantage, c’est la double connectique XLR + USB. En USB, l’installation est immédiate : on branche et ça fonctionne sans réglages compliqués. En XLR, on peut l’intégrer dans une interface audio pour aller encore plus loin dans la qualité. Cette polyvalence est vraiment appréciable. Le micro est solide, très bien construit, avec des boutons accessibles directement dessus : mute instantané, contrôle du gain, monitoring casque… Tout est là pour améliorer le confort d’utilisation, surtout pendant les enregistrements ou en live. Le logiciel fourni est simple mais pratique pour gérer les réglages essentiels. Pour quelqu’un qui veut un son propre rapidement sans se prendre la tête, c’est parfait. Que ce soit en face cam, pour des podcasts, du streaming ou de la voix-off, il fait le job sans broncher. La voix est nette, pleine, et beaucoup plus professionnelle qu’avec un micro USB d’entrée de gamme. En résumé : un micro polyvalent, fiable, simple à utiliser et au rendu vraiment pro pour son prix. Je le recommande sans hésiter !
