Recovering from spinal fusion surgery and this was recommended by my in home physical therapist. She generally uses the name brand pad, that’s three times the price, but carries this pad as an extra. She suggested getting one since I’ll only use it twice per day for three months. I could not tell a difference in the stiffness of the two pads and the one I received is no different. Good value.

My knees said thank you. Very thick and very nice. No stinky smell either, and that’s a plus.

I returned this due to being too soft. The balance pad I use at physical therapy is much more buoyant and firm, making the balance exercises more difficult. This pad being too soft, your feet sink in so much it makes balance exercises easier, which is not what you want. I went with the swiss made airex brand.
