Good. But if you are seriously trying to get rid of Candida, no one product will do. Candida is far to smart and insidious it adapts quickly. You must rotate and pick 10 different anti fungals. Use this with Candizyme to break the biofilm, also add Serrapeptase that will eat the biofilm as well. Milk Kefir has over 40 strains of probiotics in it. Far more then any probiotic you cn buy at the store. Even if you are lactose, the gains eat all of the sugar in the milk so you should be okay drinking this. I'm currently reading "The Body Ecology Diet" book , Diet is very important, you must cut out all sugar, Candida has spores if you think they are gone they are just laying dormant, they can grow any time and reproduce asexually. It is far more insidious then you think please read "Candida Secrets" ... it is life changing and better helps you understand how serious it is. I now have it in my lungs and cannot breathe. I have breast implants and am certain its formed biofilm around the implants. It's been tough journey. I suggest "Humco Boric Acid" for females, can make your own suppositories just buy the gel empty capsules. And if you have severe systemic candida like me, male or female try "Sovereign Collodial Silver"- THIS WORKS! But you must keep up the diet. Don't go back to eating sugar, you must keep this diet for life. Here and there you may add a few fruits or whatever but Im sorry to say you cannot go back to eating candy and drinking wine, ever. As soon as you do your Candida will return with a vengeance far worse then before. Oh and buy all of this stuff off Vitacost, seriously 50% cheaper then amazon! I had been suffering with a Yeast overgrowth that started in Oct. 2014 due to a bunch of antibiotics that I was taking that year. In 2015, I began researching natural products that would help because the antibiotics my doctor kept prescribing were making things worse (i.e stomach pain, vaginal yeast). When I changed my diet, I did experience die-off but the yeast levels were still out of balance. I decided to re-train my body to the foods that I normally ate but added antifugals. That was temporal because I was taking antifugals one at a time with no success. Then I started taking Yeast Cleanse pills (Candizyme) and enzymes (i.e. Serrapeptase and Nattokinase) and they worked for a few months but it was not the end. In November 2016, I was headed out out town and did not have any of the yeast cleanse pills so I picked up this Solaray Yeast Cleanse from my local Whole Foods and took it on my trip. AMAZING, immediate results! I take 6 a day with or without a meal and I am able to drink beers and I am not suffering from vaginal yeast infections and my stomach feels great! This product is incredibly effective for candida overgrowth. It took me a long time to realize candida was basically the main factor in some of my medical issues (namely trouble swallowing and other things). I did the doctor rounds for 2 years and not a peep about it. I'm taking 3 capsules twice a day (every 9-12 hours give or take). My throat issue was better within 24 hours of the first 6 capsules, within 48 hours it was gone completely without even adjusting my diet in any way. This was a problem I had for 4+ years, 48 hours later zip, zero, nada...no food get's stuck in my throat, period. After about a week of taking it my acid reflux has also been significantly reduced enough that it doesn't wake me up when I'm sleeping. About the product itself well it's really strong stuff and you'll feel the effects, taste, and smell of what I'm guessing is the tea tree oil and you will taste the garlic afterwards. The effects of the die off vary but will be fairly heavy with this product (for me they generally hit at night) if you take the full dose such as weakness in my legs. I suggest not driving for at least an hour after taking a half dose (3 capsules) so maybe 2.5 hours after a full dose (6) if that's how you're doing it; it's not dangerous to do but it does make me slightly "wired" if I don't eat anything before taking the capsules. You can't/shouldn't make medical claims about vitamins but it's probably worth a shot if you feel you have symptoms of candida and are getting nowhere with medical professionals. As for other things or worse cases you might want to supplement the stronger ingredients in this product with other capsules particularly the grapefruit seed extract and the pau d'arco (not the tea tree oil however) but that's something to discuss with your health care professional.

Its a strong taste but it will help with cravings and kill candida in the body; I used a few years ago and it worked great, so I revisited since I noticed i was craving lots of sugar...make sure to drink lots of water, or your urine will literally smell like the garlic and other herbs...

The first week I started taking this, there was an immediate change in the way I felt! I mean, IMMEDIATE. I am taking this for Candida, which I have struggled with for years and didn't know it until recently. I had been to numerous doctors, who all swore I had a yeast infection, a bacterial infection, this, that, blah blah blah. What was so interesting is they would swab my mouth and vaginal area and all come back with different TYPES of bacterial infections, but the prescriptions were all the same: antibiotics, antibiotics, and more antibiotics! I later learned that this just makes Candida worse, and basically feeds the yeast. So after 11 years of suffering and mystery, I finally started doing my own research. That's when I discovered through the spit test combined with the symptoms I was experiencing, it was for sure Candida. It was unreal, because I couldn't believe some of the issues I had been having for so long were simply because of yeast. So when this Solaray arrived, I was about 4 days into the Candida diet and started to take the supplements, along with some Dr. Schultz's detox tea with about 3 drops of Oil of Oregano; all believed to counter the yeast. As I began to feel better I started to get more lax with the diet, convincing myself that the tea and supplements were working so well, it would just over ride what I was eating. WRONG ANSWER. To rid myself of this yeast, which has multiplied enormously and taken over my colon, I will have to definitely change my diet. Now, with that said, I have eased up on the most extreme Candida diet, which included not eating any diary, legumes, bread, starch, and obviously, desserts, which are my biggest weakness. And just a mass of other foods like soy, grains, vinegar (except apple cider) and the list goes on and on. So now, I just listen to my body; The bulk of my diet IS a lot of veggies, steamed or raw, and protein. But I've started including some legumes, I bought Lactaid, which agrees fine with me. The theory is that the lactose (or sugar) in the dairy feeds the yeast, but Lactaid is lactose-free, and I'll put a little in say, a smoothie, but I'm not liberal with it. I've found that I can have Ezekiel Bread in moderation because all the grains in it have been sprouted, which kills the gluten. So, I just go step by step, if I eat something, and have a flare up of symptoms, but was feeling fine before, I don't eat it again, or less often. For instance, I sat up one night and ate veggie chips, in which the main ingredient is white potatoes; immediately my tongue started burning and became sore. So, I stopped the chips. I won't lie, getting rid of Candida is a struggle, but I'm trying my best to hang in there with all of these diet restrictions; sometimes I feel I just can't do it even one more day. As I sit here and type this, I want to badly order a pizza, but I won't. I have some cooked legumes and steamed veggies, salad and soup in the fridge, and I'll force myself to stick with that for the evening. I was actually raised vegetarian, and healthy eating has always been a part of my life. I love healthy eating, but maybe there's just something about someone saying you "can't", that makes it more challenging; I'm not sure. I split mine up. Three in the morning and 3 in the evening. I add them to my weekly vitamin regiment. Taking Yeast Cleanse by Solaray is a safer alternative to the products that out on the market. Most of them seem to cause more side effects than they are worth. I have not had any side effects from taking Yeast Cleanse. I have been taking them for over 2 years. The Yeast Cleanse capsules contain; Vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc. They also contain Grapefruit (seed extract), Caprylic Acid, Pau D’ Arco. Garlic, Licorice and Tea Tree Oil. Other ingredients are Vegetable Cellulose (the capsule). Whole Rice concentrate, Dong Quai Root, and Fennel Seed. Please check with your physician before taking any supplements. The price of Solaray Yeast Cleanse Capsules is comparable to the price at the store. I have recommended this product to friends and family that have issues with yeast buildup. This supplement gave me the worst stomach cramps possible. I’ve only taken it two days and I felt super sick. I took the second dose around dinner time and my stomach pain went on the entire night. I almost couldn’t sleep. I was told to take this supplement for candida, but you’re better off taking something that won’t cause you so much pain. I do not recommend this product.
