This is terrible. I would return it if I could. It doesn't taste like any kind of bourbon we enjoy. My daughter thinks it tastes like burned plastic. My husband tried to mix it and that didn't help. Now we're afraid to try another brand. Guess we'll drink real bourbon.

Pleasantly surprised it tastes like a weak bourbon without the burn. All these other reviews are misleading. Of course it won’t taste like the real thing. I don’t think people understand what it takes to make a substitute. So if your buying this thinking it’s tastes like bourbon you will need to move on.

I'm a positive guy but this stuff was awful. Took 1 sip and dumped the entire bottle down the drain. Really should get a zero, or lower. Grossly overpriced for awful tasting liquid. Cool bottle, though.

I was pleasantly surprised at the similarity in flavor to a true Rye alcohol/liquor. I have only tried 4 nonalcoholic "whiskey" or "bourbon" brands, & they did not impress me like this "rye" did with its familiar flavor. It's tasty w/Ginger Ale!

Not very close to Whiskey. I like Kentucky 74 way better. I will give credit to the sight burn similar to Whiskey. No good neat or on the rocks. I actually found a use for it which is mixing it with Pathfinder and another NA spirit with a squeeze of lemon. Tasted almost like an Old Fashioned. It could definitely be improved.

First of all, I KNOW this will not have the same taste as real, alcoholic whiskey...but it is undrinkable whether you are comparing it to whiskey or on its own. I don't know who thought this was rye style, because it is sweeter than any bourbon I have ever tasted. From the first opening of the bottle, the sweet smell overpowers, maybe a little caramel note. Take a sip and it's all over. It is sickeningly sweet and has an aftertaste like cold medicine. I tried neat, rocks and even mixed it with a little ginger ale, but nothing could cut that overpowering sweetness. If you enjoy cold medicine, but don't like getting drowsy, then perhaps this is the drink for you...otherwise, just take a pass.

Smells just like it to me. Tried it on the rocks. Yuk! Tried it with Coke - Not so good. All together 3 shots. When mixed with coke it was 1 part Sobour and 2 parts Coke. Spent the next day in the bathroom. The rest is going in the trash. I had high hopes. Didn't pan out.
