After two years of constant use, our MX6 pool cleaner needed a refresh / rebuild. I replaced the internal parts and it immediately picjked up speed and the ability to climb walls again. The flow regulator valve as it is called, connects the hose to the actual MX6 unit and was worn to the point of slipping off. This replacement part was simple to install - it twists on exactly like the hose pieces connect. It functions and works exacly like the original piece and wis well built - strong plastc with clips that hold to the MX6. The suction is good and back to picking up leaves and dirt. Overall a good buy for the cost of the product.

I got this as a replacement part for my Polaris Maxx at a quarter of the cost. It works great!
