GREAT value for money.
Flashed GRBLHAL to this controller to run my laser. I use Lightburn. Does a FINE job compared to the A4988 drivers I was using previously. I'm not smart enough to reallocate one of the spare trinamic drivers to run each of my 'y' axis steppers in the firmware build process so I ended up splitting them again from one driver. Worth every penny!

great little board but check BTT websight for better price
the pico is a great little board when I bought it from amazon they were charging $44.99 I bought one for my Voron V0.1 cause I liked the idea of how easy the pico made UART connections and the board powered the pi then as I was looking for the pinout I saw BTT was selling it for $25.99 sadly amazon doesn't have a price match and I had to return the amazon board (unopened) and at such a great price I bought 3 picos 1 for my V0.1 one for my SW and one for a project I'm planning in the future I do love this board the only complaints I have is one the UART and usb cable are a little on the short side and tow that its hard to find electroincs bays for due to all the ports angled to the side and not straight up but both seem to be done so you can attach a pi on the top of the board but I like doing it side by side anyways both are minor complaints and easily fixed if you need a board for a printer that needs only 4 motor ports you can't go wrong with this one

Worked Well...When It Worked!
Initially out of the box, it worked & worked well. It was nice to directly power a raspberry directly from this board. One day, after the printer finished a print job, the steppers & heaters ceased to work. I could connect a power supply to the Raspberry Pi & back feed 5V to the SKR via the serial connection. You used to be able to message a seller directly here, and with Amazon in the loop, it would keep a seller honest. But now with the current Amazon support system, I'm forced to depend this seller's (in)famous (non) support.

Love this Board
This is my favorite 3dp board I've ever used. It's so small. Runs well and having rpi spaced mounting holes is brilliant. This board is missing two things that I hope it gets in the next revision: It needs to replace D16 with a straight connection so sbcs can be powered directly over usb c, and it needs a can transceiver on board. It would also be really nice to have 4pin fan connectors in either 12v or 5v!!!!!

Great value for the cost
Board was easy to set up with Klipper and has a lot of great features, especially for the cost. The main issue I've seen so far has been observed by others as well - some of the solder joints are a little weak and the spring tension clamps for power have very weak grip. It is difficult to tighten them enough to grab the wire. Maybe these were designed with ferrules in mind?

Highly recommended
Working great on a voron 0.2. I wouldn't use it for anything bigger due to the limited connections on it, but it's not meant for larger installs anyway. It was easy to apply the klipper firmware, and there's lots of good documentation on it. It runs cooler than the pi that's connected to it. Supports sensorless homing with very little effort.

firmware install
Use the beta version to make firmware. As of this date Feb 2026 the regular marlin firmware does not work. If reg firmware used it does something that can't be cleared. You need a clean machine. The trouble is the reg firmware is not new enough, need stm32h723 for pro board.

Ive been fighting to get this going for a week. Ya know what would have made this alot easier? A nice physical manual but no i hafto rely on an outdated guide for the 1.0 board 😀. As a newbie to klipper and all this pi ssh coding stuff its seriously diabolical that you cant even include a qr code to the proper updated manual.

1st one sent to me somehow did not have a bootloader on it. Sent it back and got another. Replacement board works very well.
