Sturdy and durable, a good size and value for money. They cool down fairly quickly heat up easily in the microwave. They retain the heat/coolness for a good while and are easy to handle. They are effective when using both temperature options.

Bought these for my partner who has raging arthritis in both knees. They are easy to heat up in the microwave although they do take a little longer to heat properly, the instructions suggest 30 seconds initially and then 5 second bursts until hot. The first time I did this I was standing in my kitchen for 20 minutes to get them hot enough. I have settled on 1 minute initially and then 30 second bursts. They are good and hot by around 3-4 minutes but do keep watch because they can very easily get too hot to use. They are a good size and cover her knees easily, each one is around the size of your forearm so they would be ideal for shoulders and backs too. I haven’t frozen them because my partners arthritis responds better to heat but I’m sure they would be great for cold compress too. All in all a good product for the money
