Excellent upgrade.
Excellent addition to the Eureka mignon mamuale grinder. Money well spent, easy to fit , good quality and makes getting your coffee grinds exactly how you want them. In my case it cuts down on wasting coffee, getting the right size grinds for whatever style of coffee you have.

Brilliant upgrade to your basic grinder.
It’s virtually impossible to use the manufacturer’s dial to set to zero with the blades just nudged back from touching. This device is a dream. Easy to install and get a genuine calibration set to zero which means the blades are just separated enough not to touch. This well made device has really elevated the Grinder. Very happy customer.

Great upgrade!
Really happy with it, it looks very slick and fits very well. Once zeroed in, makes the job of switching between different grind settings super easy and more importantly REPEATABLE. It's crazy this isn't already a feature on the mignon range, highly recommend the upgrade for anyone wanting to even occasionally switch beans.

It's is aluminium where it counts.
If your anything like me you've just upgraded from something with an integrated grinder like the barista express and dived in to a mignon hoping to up your game. You've opened up, are thoroughly impressed but then you notice the little dial spins forever and has 5 markers and that's it. You need repeatability, you are happy that it's stepless but you need more markers and a sense of scale. You search the internet and find plastic 3d printed parts which do the job but you want to maintain that all metal premium feel. And this is the dial you're looking for! The small dial is 100% aluminium and nicely nerled and finished in matte black. The dial is a metal plate with cleanly etched numbers and the plastic parts are the large gear under the dial and the carrier for that gear. It's metal where you interact with it, and 3d printed plastic underneath but of good quality. Took all of 1 minute to install, fits snug, and looks OEM. I'm completely pleased with this , and yes I paid our of my own pocket, no I wasn't given this, I just think the existing review is very unfair to give it one star, the lowest I'd give it is 4 stars but I'm completely satisfied with the item matching the description so 5 stars from me

Questionable construction, but an excellent upgrade
My grinder model: Eureka Mignon Oro. IMO it's pretty misleadingly advertised. It says "aluminium grinder setting dial", but as far as I can tell, only the following parts are aluminium: - The small knob you turn - The face of the large dial The rest of the construction is plastic, including the gear teeth (where the important work happens, and most of the wear will likely accumulate). Will it last? I honestly don't know. Either way, the product title can be viewed as misleading, or perhaps "cheeky" if you're feeling charitable. In terms of quality: during installation, you have to zero the large dial before attaching it. My large dial was sticky and doesn't turn very smoothly near the zero point. Once installed it seems OK, but it didn't fill me with confidence. The second issue I had during installation was that turning the small knob didn't turn the large dial. If this happens, push down the large dial a little more -- there's no 'click' or feedback to know whether it's locked in correctly, and you can't tell just by looking at it. Again, this doesn't fill me with confidence on durability, as if a few millimetres is all it takes to disconnect the small knob from the large dial, it won't take much to break it. Materials aside, the product itself is well-designed and is a big upgrade on the original interface: 1. The grind numbers on the large dial are legible and visible even when the hopper/bellows/cap is attached 2. The coarser/finer label on the small knob is a godsend For someone like myself who often has two bags of beans on the go (regular espresso and decaf), being able to switch back and forth using the numbers as a reference is great. So basically: try your luck. I am not sold on the quality/longevity, but it's £35 for a £400+ grinder. If it fails, you can always RMA it and re-install the stock knob in 2 minutes. Aside: I have no idea what the folk are Eureka are doing, as the original interface is a shambles (for a prosumer grinder no less). I've got a Wilfa Svart Aroma that I got for £80 a few years back and it has a terrific interface with clear grind settings. Get your act together, Eureka!

Why is this not OEM??
I bought this because my in-laws are coming to visit and only drink filter, so I want to flip back and forth between filter and espresso without losing my espresso dial-in. Fit is perfect and it looks completely stock. Knob is of a good size and feels fantastic to use. Packaging is also fantastic. I know this is a bit more expensive than some other options but these guys spend the money to make sure you receive a quality product. Only things I would add to the instructions: be sure your hopper is empty before installing, and ignore the bit where you zero the gauge from where the burrs chirp. The better way to do it is to dial your espresso back in and set that point to 10 or 20. You can easily pop the dial off without removing the hopper, letting you adjust the "zero point" to whatever you want.

Should be built in already!
Must have for Eureka Specialita for better control and precision. Smoother than the stock knob! Top upgrade.

A little expensive for what it is, but it's very well made so I can't complain too much. The dials that ship with most of the Mignon grinders are very difficult to use, especially in small increments. This completely fixes that problem and looks great on the grinder. It fits like it's a factory-made accessory.

I saw a video with this addition to somebody's Eureka Mignon grinder and when somebody else asked about it, they linked here. I had to go get one. I've loved my Mignon Facile grinder, but the one frustrating element has been the tiny hard-to-fine-adjust fineness knob. Making a really small nudge can make a noticeable difference in grind, but it can be hard to make such a small adjustment with the small knob. This new knob is larger and also shows the degree of adjustment more clearly and granularly on the much larger included indicator that surrounds the hopper. I've found it far easier now to make exactly the adjustment I need to get from, say, slightly too coarse so that I'm getting a 17 second shot to just right in the 25-35 second range. I can more precisely move it the right degree to get to my desired result. Besides the great increase in functional utility, this mod is solid, made out of a quality painted aluminum that feels nice and will last along with this well-built grinder. It also looks great. The printing on the knob and the large indicator is attractive and clean and easy to read. It makes the grinder look a lot better. I've paired it with a single-dosing bellows attachment that replaces the big bulk hopper and the whole thing looks great. There are replacement knob projects available on the various 3D printing model websites. I've tried two of those and they looked OK, but those tend to slip over the existing knob and require attachment of a separate arrow to point to the coarseness number. I was never able to get the slip-over knob to securely attach -- rather, it would sometimes slip and make adjustment uncertain. Also, the plastic isn't as solid and doesn't look as nice. This alternative aluminum upgrade uses a complete replacement for the knob so it won't slip. It turns the grinder mechanism exactly as the original knob, but with the larger visual and easier control. If you have any of the Eureka Mignon models that are compatible with this upgrade, I highly recommend it.

Bien que certaines parties soient en pla imprimé 3d, la qualité est très bonne et le rendu une fois installé fait très qualitatif.
