case for a creator for sure!
We bought this for my son's friend's 6th birthday. His parents are atheists but their son has started asking some questions about the origins of the universe and what happens after death so we hoped this would help answer some of those questions. As an adult it was easy to read in a day and useful for reaffirming how everything in creation points to our loving Creator, God of the Bible. Lee strobel puts points across in a clear manner that would get even adults thinking about these things!

Excellent book
I got this book for my 6 years old but it really is more of a 9-10 years old book. He stilled enjoyed it but I'm not sure he gets it all. What I appreciated most was that it gave him words on how to explain things to his friends.Overall, it is an excellent book. I would recommend it for older kids.

Not a balanced assessment of evidence
This book has a poor understanding of the nature of science, and ignores the views of the many scientists who are evangelicals and evolutionary creationists. It presents only the 'Intelligent Design' viewpoint with the alternative of scientists who 'think there is no creator.' So overall the sections on cosmology are OK, but on biology are one sided. The cosmological argument, however, goes back to Aristotle or earlier, was developed in Neoplatonism and early Christianity and later in medieval Islamic theology during the 9th to 12th centuries and on to Aquinas in the 13th. The only reason Strobel decides to attribute it to Kalam medieval Islamic origins seems to be that WIlliam Lane Craig wrote a book with that title - but it seems an odd decision for a book aimed at introducing good Christian arguments for creation for kids. Overall disappointing.

A must have for kids!
A great read for kids with questions about their faith. Even those who don’t have questions. Helps them to understand why they believe. Highly recommend.

Great book for kids.
I bought this for my nephews, but I read it first. It's a great, simplistic way to explain creation by a creator. It all boils down to this...1) You put your faith in the extremely unlikley odds it took for the earth to be inhabitable or...2) You put your faith in God and in His Word that he created it and it didn't happen by chance.
