All you need is EFS
I've used Ultragen for years and Liquid Shots were key in a big event that became my best day on a bike ever. The First Endurance guys know their stuff. I just transitioned to EFS after getting frustrated by the occasional cramp I got if I didn't do electrolytes and hydration just right. First ride was this past weekend, 120 miles and 14K feet climbing ending in 90 degree heat, and no problems! No need to eat bars and solid food; the amino acids in EFS serve the purpose of protein and digest easier It was strange riding all day with just bottles full of sport drink, but it really works. Plus it tastes really good (I tried the Fruit Punch flavor) and makes for simple and light packing -- because all you need is EFS.

Product is Amazing - When purchased from FirstEndurance
In the past week I have purchased 3 bags of First Endurance Sour Watermelon mix. Thus far I've received two of them, both were harder than a brick. In the pictures provided you can see what the product actually looks like coming out of the two bags I purchased. It's actually suppose to be silky and white, smoother than sugar really. This is far from that and is unusable in it's current state. Luckily, I was able to get a refund on ONE of the bags, however it looks like I'm eating the cost on the other as it's "non-refundable." Which stinks as the product I purchased is unusable and is more akin to a chicken nugget than powder. Hopefully the third bag is not in the same condition as the other two. Will update post receiving the THIRD bag. Edit: 2/3 Bags have been refunded - awaiting third bag arrival.

does what it's supposed to do
OK I can say I've used Infinit, Accelerade, Gatorade, Hammer and Powerade. This is by far the best for me. Others were either real thick and sat in my stomach, did nothing for me or made me a little nauseas or gave me gas. EFS is light and easy to digest, does what it's designed to do and gives me more energy and fuel to push myself harder than if I drank water alone. Also I don't cramp up,or not nearly as much which is a big issue for me on really hard rides or ride and run days. And it even tastes better than all of the others as well. I get the orange and mix some crystal lite with it for more flavor and a little caffiene.

No Cramps
No cramps, long lasting endurance, decent taste, no food coloring, low cost & mixes well. What else can be said? I have been an avid mountain biker since 1990 and have consumed many pre-ride products for improved performance. None have delivered on their promises quite like EFS, NO CRAMPS!! I admittedly party often and end up answering the early morning calls of "are you riding dude" with a ugh, "I'm super hungover but sure". Until I found EFS I would just suffer brutal cramps usually culminating in a fantastic auger (see wreck). There is nothing quite like getting a quad cramp on a 8' high skinny. Anyways, EFS rules!

Best out there for heavy sweating folks
I use EFS for cycling, and it's the best I've come across for me. I sweat heavy and lose a ton of electrolytes - just about every other product out there is too light for me. This hits the mark. The taste is just a touch salty, so I offset that with a tiny pinch of regular gatorade and it works perfect. If you sweat lightly and don't lose much electrolyte, this is probably overkill for you. Hydration is a very individual thing - people can vary by multiples in sweat rate and how much electrolyte is in that sweat. I waited for decades for something like EFS.

Product is good, questionable seller
So this is on me for not reading reviews before purchasing a product I’ve purchased in the past. Read the reviews!!! They know they’re shipping bad product and it appears they don’t care/continue to do it. With no return policy the consumer is buying at their own risk. I’ll likely go straight to First Endurance moving forward.

Salt Water Adventures
Helped me get through my 24 hour endurance run. The taste - though - is terrible. It was almost like taking a gulp of salt water with the juice of the smallest grape in the world is squeezed into your mouth. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some grape flavored Fanta water mix-ins(2 boxes) and dumped all of it into the container. It still had a bitter taste to it but you could at least it tasted like the flavor that the label states it should taste like. Also, the scoop is way too long for the container. I ended up cutting about half of the handle off. In the end, I made it work and it functioned as a good sports drink but the taste was almost overwhelming.

Taking expert's words that it works
I run three days a week and ride my road bike three days a week. I usually fill my water bottles with this product when I'm going on longer rides, particularly when it's hot out. I'm relying on the experts who recommend this product that it works better for me than standard electrolyte drinks that you buy in the grocery store. I can definitely tell you that this product does not have the strong sweet flavor that you'd get with other electrolyte drinks. With EFS Grape, you get a hint of grape flavor. You don't drink it for the flavor. You drink it to replace your electrolytes and some other items such as amino acids that are contained in this product. I've also tried the orange flavor which I could taste a little more than the grape. I still use electrolyte drinks from the grocery store after shorter, less demanding workouts because those drinks cost less. I'm not sure if I'd be better off using this product after every workout but I do know that it's less expensive for me to use EFS mostly for my longer, harder workouts. 20131103 update - I previously mentioned only getting a hint of flavor. But I determined that I really needed to up the dosage since I was using a water bottle larger than 12 oz. If you add a couple of scoops of EFS rather than one scoop, the flavor becomes close to what you might get with other electrolyte drinks.
