Pleasantly surprised
When I bought this, at the price, I was only expecting to buy the reel to fit my 100 foot 12 gauge extension cord. I wasn't expecting to buy the extension cord as well. It was only 2/3 the price of another brand for just the reel. Yes, the shoulders are plastic, but it seems adequate. I've not used it yet, but the cord seems flexible and the outlets are tight. Generally, I've been generally pleased with Vevor products and this is no exception. It's a very good value at this price point.

Good cord reel w/receptacles
Good quality spool & wire. Works fine. 1st one I got was broken in transit. Orange handles broke off of the spool. This one is fine!

Nice space saver
I got this for my husband’s miter saw, and it’s been a game-changer! It works flawlessly, and there aren’t any issues with it. I love how easy it is to wrap up the cord, making everything look neat and tidy. It really helps declutter the area. The winding-up function is also a breeze, and we didn’t have any problems with that either. Overall, this product has equaled our expectations, and we’re really happy with it.

Not great. You get what you paid for.
No actual plugs that can work with plugs that have seals around them (like my Ryobi weed eater), which means you need another extension cord to hook into the extension cord.

Heavy duty, but lacks a much needed cord guide.
This reel cord seems to be well made and heavy duty with a heavy durable cord. That said, be aware; a 100' cord makes this reel very heavy.Unfortunately, I did have a problem that prompted me to return it. It is very difficult to retract!It seems to be the only reel on Amazon that doesn't have a cord guide on the bottom. Didn't realized how important a guide is. Cord will not roll up properly without it. Cord will catch on edge of reel and twist aroung hub. You must then stop and unwind a bit before continuing. Also, you must wind slowly enough to have the cord wind neatly on to the reel so as to be tightly and compactly wound. If not, cord will bunch up on reel and soon start rubbing your fingers before cord is completely taken in. A deeper reel (the height of the sides) would help this.
