I’ve been very impressed with the Launch X-431 PROS so far. The scanner offers deep system access, bi-directional controls, and a wide range of service functions that make diagnosing and repairing vehicles much easier. The interface is straightforward, scans are fast, and it provides detailed fault information beyond basic OBD scanners. It has already helped me identify and resolve multiple vehicle issues efficiently. Overall, this is a solid, professional-grade diagnostic tool and a great value for anyone serious about vehicle diagnostics or DIY repairs.

Amazing scan tool, Bluetooth vci, makes easier to work around the vehicle, doing active test of components you can anywhere around the car, launch software is very intuitive, strong built, touch screen is well protected agains common drops, and the hability to add tpms and battery testing is really nice. For the price is doing much more than I expected.

I recently purchased and used the Launch X431 PROS V 5.0 to help run a compression test on my Mercedes C63, the tool was able to easily put the car in a diagnostic mode, disable the fuel pump and spark and actuate the starter which made performing the compression test a breeze (no need to pull fuses to disable the fuel pump) I found the tool to be very snappy and responsive, both from the overall Android OS, the Launch X431 app perspective. Lastly, the overall product quality is very good with a strong case that can easily withstand reasonable bumps and drops

This Launch X431 PROS V 5.0 scan tool is one of the most deceptive and poorly supported products I have ever purchased. It is advertised as a professional diagnostic and bidirectional tool for advanced vehicle systems, yet it performs nothing close to what is promised. I purchased this for my 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550. The listing claims full system compatibility and deep module diagnostics. In reality, this is a non–North American version with incomplete coverage and translation errors throughout the software. It can read only the most basic fault codes and provides no meaningful data for any of the complex Mercedes modules it claims to support. Worse, the tool writes to Mercedes control units in the wrong coding language. Using Mercedes Xentry software I picked up after the fact along with a certified Merc Mechanic, I confirmed that the commands sent by this tool do not match Mercedes’ diagnostic protocols and language . This is extremely serious. It does not simply fail to work — it actually writes incorrect data to the car’s computers. In my opinion, this practice is an illegal bait and switch. The tool convinces users that it has completed certain functions, but in reality, it masks or corrupts them. When I attempted to reset a simple service interval, the result was a corrupted ECU entry and an absurd warning on my dashboard stating that the vehicle was 300 years past due for service. There is no customer support, no warranty process, and no recourse. This product should not be sold as a professional tool. It is dangerously misleading, and Amazon should investigate this manufacturer and hold them accountable for false advertising and potentially unlawful coding behavior. If you are a professional technician or even a capable DIY owner, avoid this product at all costs. Seven hundred dollars wasted on a device that should not be trusted to connect to any vehicle. I would not even use this tool on a bicycle.

Excellent product, perfectly suited to my needs, with advanced technology, and the brand has excellent representation and technical support. It's one of the best scanners on the market; its bidirectional function allows for extensive vehicle diagnostics.

Received tool 12 days ago. Scanner updated easy. Seams to be easy to use. Shipping was fast. It seems to do a lot more than my older launch tool did. I will update this review after I have used this product and become more familiar with it. I did just get the updated I-TPMS tool for it also and it link right up with no problems. This seems to be a great scanner for either a shop or a DYI. It has so many options for what it can do. Great tool!!!
