1 Set Metal Front Bumper/Rear Bumper for TRX4 1/10 RC Crawler Car

Good fit. No damage and screws are fine if you use a good quality hex tool like arrowmax. Makes the truck look like it’s supposed to. 5***

I have tried several bumpers for both my TRX4 and TRX6 I have been using one of the double motor winches but I came across a winch that uses a continuous rotation servos so as I had just come across a 25Kg continuous rotation servo I ordered one of the servos along with the parts to make up the winch once I had fitted it I noticed a problem with it as the old bumper was in the way of the winch cable so after searching for a new bumper I came across this one which had the sizes I needed when it arrived I fitted it and noticed that this bumper was much stronger than all the others I have ever used (if they made one in full size I would fit it to my real landrover) if manufacturers of rc models made them to this standard modelers would never bother to upgrade models they owned as I doubt even if you went out of your way to damage it you would not manage to do so, I am going to order another one for my Trx4.

Just arrived today and was quite eager to get it on the defender. Opened up the parcel to find quite a bit of tarnished paint on a few of the sections. either this being rubbing in the package or it left the factory that way. The hardware provided is made out of monkey metal - almost stripped a few of the bolts as I was screwing them in. Also came to my attention that the winch plate provided is absolutely useless! I can't even fit my injora winch on the bumper unless i drill some holes and even then, the bumpers loop that goes up to surround the grill of the defender even stops me from getting the winch in there. The bumper has a hard time getting close to the front of the body. Leaves quite a undesired gap, will probably have to drill out the arms just to get that extra couple of millimetres in. What a pain in the rump. Could of been a great bumper if it wasn't for those few things. For now I have to regrettably give it two stars. looks great if you do not look too closely. Fit and finish is not quite there and the sizing seems quite off on a lot of the bumper.

Instructions are missing and one screw don’t fit perfectly

I wanted a metal bumper and this matches the real factory bumper on the Puma Defender, that the TRX4 is modelled on. Its a solid bumper improves approach angle and is realistic.

Quite misleading advert description. It says x1 set front/back bumper. Only one item turned up. Quite disappointed really. To me a set means two items, not one.

The corner sections were not machined properly and the recessesvwere not deep enough so thevscrew holes didnt align. Therfore i left them off.

I don't often write reviews, but the item once unpacked had marks along the whole bumper where it's hit the other parts in the package. The anodizing wasn't very good showing silver bare metal in 2 places. Overall the bumper was good just a real shame the finish looks rubbish.
