When I first ordered this, I thought that it had a light that came with it, as this would be my first time deviating from my normal LED lights setup. I did end up ordering the proper light for it, only to come to the conclusion that I prefer my LED lights over the SE bulb set up. The size is very manageable, and the light gets very bright, and the unit itself doesn't get very hot. It is built pretty solid and very easy to install. Overall, though, I would say that after trying this ballast to run the SE bulb, I would prefer sticking with the good ole LED lights that I've used for years. It is great for what it is, but it's just not the best for my particular setup.

I hooked up the Item, watch the new MH 1000 Fire off, I left for 20 minutes, and came back to a bad smell, a burned out 1000 W MH bulb, and receptacle, and ballast.

Works great. No problem to report.

Item arrived in perfect condition and works properly.
