Works excellent for DPF clean out!
You will need both the DPF cleaner and purge to do the job! That said, a hand held garden sprayer or undercoating gun will work well for the job using a copper tubing tip. Follow directions to the T and you will be good to go! Have used on top vehicles dropping soot/ash levels to almost 0

Worked for my 2014 Sprinter 160k
Worked for me!!! No more error code. Update : After about 1 year, now 170k, the p242f error code came back, though after reset use of OBD reader, it won’t come back for another 1k mikes. But I am sure the filter is again getting dirty. Just purchased second bottle and will apply this weekend.

Must have for DIY guys
If you look up the YouTube application for the stuff on your sprinter or Mercedes DPF , it is the right stuff and it works! I bought the garden sprayer modified the tip crawled underneath with a crescent wrench exactly is the video describes, and apply both cleaner and rinse exactly as instructed. Since I have cleaned and rinsed the filter, I have put easily 50,000 miles on my sprinter and it is currently getting about 21 miles per gallon avg. Call your dealer and find out what it will cost for them to clean it and your job will drop. You can do this whole procedure yourself including buying a garden sprayer if you don't already have one for under $100 and hey, if you're not handy, ask your friend or neighbor who is. This is a piece of cake and a must-have if you don't want to buy a new DPF in the near future.

I’d use this before it stops up as a maintenance interval
Product does work but didn’t fully clean DPF. Am going to take it off and clean it again

Seems to have worked. I took off the DPF and splashed it in,rather than buying the $250 spray wand. Then used a weed burner to burn the soot out. It brought DPF from full to 90%, whereupon the truck would regen.
