Highly recommend.
This is a really fun little drill and hammer set. My 3.5-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter both love playing with this. They aren't quite patient enough to actually lay out one of the designs in the book, but maybe they will the longer they have it. It's very sturdy and I love that it has little drawers to keep all the pieces together--we're bad about losing small parts. My only complaint is that I kind of wish it was all screws and a drill and no nails/hammer, because it is quite loud. But of course the kids love that part too, so for them it's perfect.

Really fun toy
My son got to try out this really cool toy from Educational Insights called my first workbench. It is quite large and it comes with tons of different colored plastic screws and nails. It comes with a a screw driver that takes batteries so it really works and a hammer. There’s a large pull out drawer so you can store all the supplies when not in use. In the instruction manual it includes a diagram of different pictures and patterns you can make with the different colored nails and screws, which was really neat. The only downside I found was that there aren’t grippers on the legs underneath so the workbench slides around on the table and the drawer is a little tough to open. Other than that my son has been having a blast playing with this

Great Great Product!
Yes. Buy!!!Two year old twins love it- twins boy and girl. Buy an extra drill..google it with product name and it will give you a drill that can be combined with this product..or you will have fights over the drill! Great hand-eye coordination and it is a very substantial product- that for once, looks like it is more money than you bought it for. I will buy it as a gift for others.

Worth the money and makes a great gift!
My 2 year old son (and his 2 big sisters!) love this toy! It’s held up despite how hard they hammer and drill in all the pieces - almost no signs of wear! My make disappointment lies in the battery life on the screwdriver - in the first 2 months we replaced batteries twice! Not even from too much use though my kids definitely didn’t bother with the on and off switch every time. I like the colorful nails and screws, the ease of use for a 2 year old and how engaging it is for lots of ages. When we have guests over, it’s always one of the first toys they want to check out in my sons room. Would be cool on a little table of some sort.

Awesome toy! My son loves the different colors of the screws and nails, and that the drill works to put the screws in and reverse them back out. It has captured his attention. The drill makes a little bit of noise but not too much compared to some other toys. I love that it is not a huge stand up toy and that it stores all the pieces.

A must-have product!
This workbench keeps my little guys busy for a long time! At first he loved to just put the screws and nails in randomly. When he started to get a little bored with that, he rediscovered the fun when he realized he could make all different types of patterns and pictures. Now his little sister (2) even loves to play with this workbench. Whenever they see Dad using his tools on a project, the kids run to the workbench and work right near him. I would highly recommend this product to anyone whose children are even slightly interested in tools!

great if it worked!
This is a great set but our drill doesn't work well. Sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't. Given that, my daughter lost interest quickly.

Would purchase again
Quality piece with hammer and screwdriver. Lots of pieces! Should be fun for kids 3 to work on gross motor skills as well as older kids for the design element which can make the toy usable to an older age.
