We had our first baby and bought nappies from various brands size 1 for newborns. It turned out they were all leaking because they were too big for our 7.2lbs baby. Midwife recommended going a size down - so we tried the size 0 Fred & Flo. They are perfect for now. There is a yellow line which turns blue after urinating. No need to open the nappy to check. Nappy closing mechanism works well. We've now ordered und used the nappies several times and will continue to do so until our baby grows into size 1.

These were perfect for my little 6lb boy, the size up just seemed to bury him. Ordered these from Amazon for convenience but you pay for that privilege!
