French's Tomato Ketchup, 20 oz

The best wing joint in Atlanta, GA, Clay’s Sports Cafe has this on all their tables. It pairs great with their famous spicy Cajun fries. For awhile our local Kroger sold this, but not anymore. It tastes different than Heinz. I’m not sure if it’s better in my opinion but I do love it and it’s quite delicious. Now that it’s harder to get I want it even more. It does seem sweeter than Heinz and may be why it pairs well with the spicy fries. It reminds me of fancy ketchup or in the old days, “catsup” although neither of those monikers are on the products label. This is made by French’s though and they are the brains behind the world famous competition bbq sauces known as cattlemen’s, so it’s made by foodies who are sauce pros.

I love ketchup, I could probably eat a pair of shoes if there was enough ketchup on them. that being said, the product doesn't have that " sugary " underlying taste, just more tomato taste. The price is more reasonable than Heinz. I drove a tanker for a living and Heinz would lie and cheat to get out of paying delay charges according to their contract , even when confronted with GPS evidence that they were lying. Another really good brand of ketchup is " Red Gold " made in Indiana

I was looking for an alternative to Heinz that has gotten t/b too expensive in the US for my budget & found this Canadian made product. I wanted something at a reasonable price w/out high fructose corn syrup or corn syrup & this has just sugar in it which is perfect for me. It has a pleasantly different taste than Heinz & works for me. 🙂

Best ketchup!!!

When I was a kid my mom always bought French’s ketchup. At some point in time it was not available in my area. I went to my brothers house in Kansas City and he had French’s ketchup that we had on burgers and I then remembered how awesome the flavor is. Still can’t get it in my area but I can purchase on Amazon. Don’t knock it till you try it.

Boy, things have sure changed in this new age. I saw this French's ketchup for an excellent price here, so I thought I'd try it out. Around that same time, I saw Heinz mustard in the store, so it appears that both leading companies are expanding into the other's territory. The French's ketchup was of great quality for store-bought ketchup and the package size was a great value for the price. I might start ordering more of my groceries through Amazon. It's nice getting a great deal AND having it show up on my doorstep.

With real sugar instead of corn syrup, This ketchup tastes like the ketchup of yesteryear. Here's the crazy thing - you don't even realize that the taste of today's ketchup had changed until you try French's and realize that's the way ketchup used to taste!
