I shoot a lot of boudoir, glamour, and portraits in Las Vegas. I often shoot in client's hotel rooms and got tired of the time and effort required bringing in studio strobes with all the cables and power cords. I used to work with an assistant to help with all the equipment and it was not efficient. I put together a total location lighting kit with Canon 600 series wireless battery operated strobes, lightweight stands, collapsible softboxes, and the AODELAN battery packs. I like to shoot fast and these battery packs never let me down. I keep my flashes at 1/2 power or less for most setups and I can shoot as fast as I want with every unit firing without fail. The battery packs are well made and nice to look at and the having 12 batteries is great. They have just enough weight and the power cord is long enough to usually be able to strap them to the base of the stands so they double-down and help stabilize my lightweight lightstands as well. I am very pleased that I purchased these packs.

The battery life didn't last quite as long as I expected... I got to 700 flashes before I got to 1 bar, and recycle time was good but not blazingly fast. All in all, a very good product for the price.

The unit worked as advertised. I needed to extend my flash for a up coming photo shoot, and this unit was great. You do have to have batteries in your flash for this unit to work. It allowed me fast recovery time for shot to shot. A little heavy, but what do you expect with 12 AA batteries in it. Shot over 1300 shots and still had 1 LED lit.

I’ve only used it once so far, but it lasted through an entire wedding and reception and worked exactly as I expected it to. The constitution is sold and I love the case it comes with. With 12 batteries it is a bit big and a little heavy, but I use it attached to a light stand so it doesn’t matter to me, but something to think about if you carry it or attach it to your camera.

I was a believer in this product but today was scary. I just put in 12 new batteries and tested it if the lights came on and it did. Went back to my camera case and my flash that was next to the battery pack was very hot and no batteries were inside the flash. I decided to check the battery pack and it was extremely hot and didn't want to open. I forced it open and all the batteries were leaking and swelling. No idea what happened but I would not be purchasing this one again.

I'm so excited about these! I bought 3 for each of my flashes. I was able to make it through a whole wedding without having to change my flash batteries. I used to have to change them at least 2 times during the night so it was so amazing to be able to set them up and not worry about them dying. They really made the recycle time better too. Myself and my second shooter were both set up to the off-camera flashes and sharing them the whole night and didn't have any issues with recycle time or delay. I'm so glad I bought these, it's stepped me up to the next level!

I meant to return it and unfortunately forgot to within the timeframe. It's heavy, bulky and would never work well for weddings with all of the other heavy items (that are needed) that I'm toting those long days. Bummer!

Purchased this item to photoshoot an event. My canon flashes take forever to recycle, so was looking for an external battery supply to speed up the process and give me more exposures. Was using 12 NiMH 2400mHh batteries in this holder plus 4 more batteries in the flash. Was able to get approximately 1000 images before the batteries got too low to charge. Great product.
