Before I purchased this chair I bought one in 2000. It lasted for twenty years. It is infinitely amusing to me that folks will purchase less expensive copies of these excellent chairs and then throw them away when they fall apart. The different between price and value is durability. I do not hesitate to recommend these amazingly comfortable chairs to anyone who wishes to be comforted for the next twenty years….. or so.

The first chair I bought on Amazon was advertised as a zero gravity chair but was not ( feet not lifted above the heart.) I returned it and shopped again. This chair is the least expensive LaFuma I could find, so I wondered if the quality would be good. It is a well made chair, mechanics work smoothly and is attractive and comfortable. It is light enough to move easily. (I am not a large person and suspect that a large heavy person would not find this chair completely suitable.) I am very satisfied with my purchase.

So lightweight and easy to recline

Years ago we bought one of these chairs for my father-in-law. It was so comfortable we decided to buy one for ourselves. If you have lower back pain or need to elevate your feet, this chair is what you need.

Remembering how much I loved my Lafumas in the past, I bought this after I bought the Amazon Basics version, so I tested them side by side. The Amazon basics beats it out. All the angles and configurations are exactly the same, except the Lafuma back support cords don't go as high up on the back, with the result that my upper arms get scrunched forward.
