2015 Ford Focus: This tool doesn't turn the actuator motor, it turns the shifting forks, at least on my Ford. I wind and unwind the shifting forks while spraying brake cleaner until they move smooth. I absolutely do not spray WD40 to lubricate. I found by trial and error; there are lubricants noticeably better. This is weird, but I use non grease, silicone garage door lubricant. In my experience, it keeps those shifting forks shifting smooth the longest amount of time. When I say smooth, I mean the jerking and bucking into 1st or 2nd is basically gone under normal driving, shifts like butter. These dual clutch transmissions are actually awesome to drive when operating properly, problem is clutch dust buid on the shifting forks.

Easy to install and good quality.

The tool is great and durable. I used it on a 2018 Ford Focus with the duel clutch transmission. It made it easier to make sure the clutch Forks were not stuck and functional before installing the new actuators.
