This has proved to be a great knife. The edge it came with was very good, it held the edge well. Subsequent honing has easily maintained the sharpness. Very pleased considering the price.

I recently purchased this kitchen knife as I wanted a good quality, sharp knife to use when preparing food. I am finding this knife very versatile. It is lovely to hold and use. You can tell that the quality is good. I would recommend.

Beautiful balance, quite a short handle so look at the specs if you’ve got very big hands. Too early to say on durability but, so far, a gorgeous bit of kit at a great price. Despite presenting as a Japanese brand, don’t be surprised that it’s made in China. As with all tools you value, wash it and dry it straight after use and do not put it through the dishwasher!

Very sharp. Even slices through overripe tomatoes, makes slicing so much easier now. Goes through even the hardest of veg with ease.
