Tupperware Heritage Pitcher Set in Vintage Colors - Dishwasher Safe & BPA Free - (Set of 2)

these are lovely pitchers, still have the originals (inherited from Grandma, including the huge 3.8L one), the colours on the images are very true to the actual items in person, the quality is Tupperware standards which are firm and strong, and of course 'cough' expensive, and i mean very expensive. I could do a fortnight of food shopping for the price of these. But as i have a few of the other 'mrs. maisel' pieces i had to have these, which was my weakness, but i do not regret at all. They are of course BPA free unlike the originals so they are safe to use which i like.

This is a review of the set of two smaller pitchers. These are very similar to the one gallon pitchers but these are shorter. While I'm not sure the new ones are identical to the Tupperware of long ago, they are sturdy Tupperware, dishwasher safe, and the colors are very pretty. I've used the light blue one for iced tea and so far there has been no staining, which is sometimes a problem with my other less expensive plastic tea pitchers. The larger light blue one holds a half-gallon and the short yellow one holds a 1-1/2 quarts, It's hard to find a good pitcher the size of the little yellow one, which would be great in a small dorm size or under-counter fridge. The lids snap in securely but placing them for pouring can be a little awkward at first. If I get the hang of it I may order the larger light green 1-gallon size too. I gave one of those for a gift so I can't review it, but the recipient requested it and likes it.

Bought for my daughter in law Christmas gift. It's good quality Tupperware. She liked it very much. She always makes her tea in a one gallon pitcher with lid. The lid stays on tight. So if her children pour the tea . It doesn't spill out.

Love this pitcher, brings me back to my childhood. Great size and quality seems very durable.
