Bought it for sinus problems made worse by blood pressure medications. Not as strong as they complain about. Depends what is is used for. The xlear Rescue does burn and might be stronger and has more oils. Much more expensive. Rescue has Euculyptis oil which does sting. If you have a plugged up nose probably work. I don’t but have sinus drainage into throat but it is thick. Made worse by allergy and more by medication. Anyhow don’t be afraid to try it because other reviews claim it stings. If you have chronic sinus problems, try it. Probably would work on cold symptoms. Don’t worry that they say not for full time. I think you can. Stronger than original one. About same price. Can not find it in stores. Does not overdry nose like some of the can sprays do.

There is a slight tingling sensation when using this product so I know there is a active ingredient other than saline. The applicator is easy to use. Maybe not the product's fault as many have recommended this. I just didn't see any relief.

It has capsaicin in it so should have know that it was going to burn. But man it felt like I shoved a hot pepper up my nose. My husband loves it and doesn't seem to mind the burn. He says it works great for him and clears out his nose. But I can't handle the burn so not for me.

I'm used to sinol. I'm used to the burn of capsicum pepper. This one does not seem to have that burn, which may be good for some people, but me personally with cluster headaches, I know with that burn comes relief because it was strong enough to take care of the start of the headache before it becomes full blown. I had to use my abortive medicine because this one does not seem to have the capsicum pepper in it as described. Or it's just so little and labeled wrong. I do not recommend this if you are a cluster headache sufferer. It may help others with less severe headaches.

Ever since discovering this product I use a lot less "bad" nose spray. It definitely burns but it's just for the first few seconds. Really helps to encourage my nasal passages to move mucus out instead of staying trapped in my sinuses. I have huge sinus cavaties and have always had a difficult time keeping them clear. Only wish I would have found this years ago! Highly recommend!
