Michael Morpurgo Collection Childrens 8 Books Set Boxed (King of the Cloud Forests, Escape from Shangri-La, Why the Whales Came, Kensuke's Kingdom, Long Way Home, The Wreck of the Zanzibar, Mr Nobody's Eyes and War Horse)

I had previously given my granddaughter the book "An elephant in the garden" and she loved it. So I decided to treat her for her birthday with this book set by the same author.

I bought 12 collection sets and I'm using the sets with the kids I teach in school. Small circles of five or six kids get together to do circle reading with different titles. They love this time and the Morpurgo books suit most kids.

great addition to my classroom library

This product I managed to buy for £23.00, I just got the last one and I discover that the box set has gone up to $130 which is a ridiculous amount of money however it is worth it. Michael Morpurgo is an amazing author who's stories are full of adventure. I have the 16 box set that was produced in 2010, I got that for £15. This new 16 bx set produced in 2012 has all my favorites in. My best is Running Wild. I strongly recommend this box set (maybe a little cheaper) to anyone between 8 and 16.

I love Michael Morpurgo and this set of books does not disappoint. Highly recommend all of books although some can probably probably only be appreciated by adults.

Read them fast because these books shed pages like a rain in April.

Ein wundervoller Autor

A lovely set of books for our granddaughter who is an enormous fan of Michael Morpurgo. Arrived on time, as described at a good price. Would recommend.

J'ai acheté deux séries de livres de Morpurgo, on peut les lire à la suite, on ne s'en lasse pas. Je n'ai pas souvenir d'une auteur qui résiste si bien à l'usure. En général, après trois ou quatre livres du même auteur, il faut changer car les ficelles narratives deviennent trop voyantes. Pas ici.

The stories are excellent. My 10 year old devours them. I very much like the style, quality of writing and the more real life themes. A pleasant and positive step forward from mindless kids' fairy tales and jokey stories. The books themselves and packaging are fairly cheap and flimsy but very good value for the sum paid.
