I really like this book. The borders and motifs give so many choices for stitching projects. You can use them as small details or build them into bigger pieces. The instructions are clear and colorful, and they spark a lot of new ideas.

Clear easy to follow

Really enjoyed this book, had a lot of the same vibes as a vintage pattern book except easier to read and more fun. I tend to be a bit picky with my borders but this one had a great mix of very detailed and very simple borders making it beginner friendly and friendly for advanced stitchers. I will be purchasing a copy of this book as well, read it through Kindle unlimited but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a surge of AI written Kindle unlimited books and you can tell with this book that it is written by a true stitcher who knows their craft and created these beautiful borders.

only ok. not really what I was looking for.

Photos and charts zoom well. Grid does not fully appear until zoomed in. Color markings are clearly visible, threads are listed solely in DMC colors. A nice collection of fairly simple designs.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution. This book offers the largest and best possible selection of borders, in color, that I have ever seen. Excellent! I can see using it for embroidery, knitting, maybe even as an inspiration for Needle Turn Appliqué.

I was impressed with the content and volume of borders in this book. A must have in any cross stitchers library.

Some interesting ideas in this book, classic motifs and borders, with very helpful corner turns. It’s a A4 sized paper back so you have to treat it accordingly.
